As much as I'd love to discover the music video for LD, I do think a music video (and a performance on tour) of "Heart of Glass" could do dome good for the album. The song is amazing, written by no other one than Sia, and has a modern vide that could attract people curiosity. That would be something "new".

I love that song! She sounds so good, and it's definitely one of my favorites on the album.

 

Heart of Glass, Look At Us Now, a duet (with Sam Smith) version of For The Lover That I Lost, Change My Mind, Falling In Love Again... there are many excellent choices for them to release music videos for.

 

It seems like, lyric-wise, The Hard Way is the most fitting for where Celine's at in her life right now. And it's the most classic Celine Dion sounding song on the album. So I think that would be my vote if I were her manager / part of her team.

 

In my opinion, the general public doesn't love it when Celine tries to sound cool. Celine Dion is cool just by sounding like Celine Dion. So songs like Ashes / The Hard Way is what the public wants from her. This seems to be the case whenever I play her new songs for my friends. They just want that powerful voice in all its immediately recognizable glory.

BTW, there's even a post in this thread saying that Beyoncé was showing herself off by oversinging on the Emotion performance, what is exactly the same Celine did on Diva's Live, but she was just enjoying the moment.

 

It's the same thing. But, "Mariah's fans are the evil and we have to fight them". It's so easy to see ourselves as heros.

I love Celine as I love Mariah and I don't understand the fight (even after Mariah wrote in her book).. Both are amazing and marvelous singers singing about L.O.V.E. We can love both without fighting

yea thats true sad to say... & in actuality there has been pretty much NOTHING NEW CELINE-RELATED TO TALK ABOUT SINCE APRIL!! (the most recent thing we have gotten from celine is that lady gaga concert performance back in april,) & WE HAVE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO NEW UPDATES, NO NEW PICTURES, NO NEW VIDEOS, ETC SINCE THEN, OVER 6 MONTHS AGO!! & ALL OF THE PICTURES & VIDEOS TEAM CELINE KEEPS POSTING ARE OLD!! they are either from last years photoshoots, or from the previous tours in 2016/2017/2018!! BUT THERES NOTHING NEW, & we are all GRASPING @ STRAWS!! arghhhhhh 😱😜

You're right! "The Hard Way" has a more Celinish sound than HOG...It definitely has a ANDHC touch and some Céline's trademark vocals

Yes, that's what I meant. I've seen many fans saying that Céline's latest posts were actually filmed or shot over the past few years, but I've never seen any proof of that.

Besides, there is not much to talk about anyway.. Celine still keeps being quied, apart from some nstagramposts..

I think that she acts this carelessly, because there is still huge demand for her concerts. If less and less people would be interested in seeing her, she would maybe feel the need to put more effort into everything. On the other hand though, why not posting proper footage from making of the album if it’s recorded and in the vaults anyway. They could easily come up with a 30 min documentary for YouTube if they wanted to. I think this misery is mainly due to a crappy, careless team and poor management.

Is it true that they kept the audience here until 1am or 3am when they were recording this? I remember hearing something like that. She did some interviews or other TV recordings on the same stage beforehand? I still find that so strange.
