A few days ago Diane tweeted that a new (Celine) song is coming soon. Then the next day she added "Not until next year though!"

I don't know when Diane's album is coming out but I find it strange that she now says not until next year - just as the Bond movie gets officially postponed to April 2021. Just a coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not.

I'm sorry, but there's no way Celine will ever get asked to record a blockbuster theme again. She's simply too old for that. Whole Ashes song was build around this "guilty pleasure" status of her.

 

I mean, why would they ask Celine to sing a Bond song, when they have a ton of young artists to easily build a hype around the movie. They had a chance to ask her to do Avatar in 2009 (scored by James Horner) but chose Leona Lewis instead, and that was already 11 years ago

They accidentally reposted their clip of “The Chase” the other day, only a few hours after it was originally published. Most people didn’t notice the fluke, but many diehard fans commented about it. Two days later, and it’s still not been noticed by TC.

 

This is pretty embarrassing, as it just goes to prove that no one from her team regularly checks her social media pages. Like, they haven’t even logged on to check the Insights (statistics like number of viewers, exposure, shares, comments, likes, etc.) of how well the post is received by her followers. I really would love to know who does her posts, because they don’t seem to take their job too seriously.

I had an idea, let's arrange a day for everyone here on this forum, to listen to the album Courage on spotify or the music lying down, for 24 hours. you just have to leave the phone with a headset on all day and all night. is a strategy that many fans do, let's do, bring back Courage.

Since another diva just released a brand new album of rarities, we should make a YouTube playlist of Celine's rarities. Or has this already been created and someone can point me to it? but i do have an honest question for you & please dont laugh lol: does it cost $$ to use spotify?? i do not have a spotify account currently (i do buy & download songs i like through itunes, google play music, & amazon music, & listen to songs & watch videos on youtube for free of course lol,) & i heard that it does cost $$, but right now with 2 kids, bills to pay, mortgage & house insurance & car insurance to pay, other subscriptions to pay (my family & i subscribe to hulu, netflix, philo, & disney plus, we "cut the cable cords" years ago lol,) i just CANT afford anything else extra @ the moment...

 

please let me know is it free, or is there a subscription i have to pay for?

sorry but mariah carey was so NOT the first woman (or person period,) who has/had curly hair! in fact in the 80s & early 90s it was the POPULAR thing to have perms (i should know personally as my mom had alot of perms in her hair back in the 80s & both of my sisters & i all did perms back in middle school in the 90s!)

 

if you look up pictures of people during the 80s & early 90s, read magazines, watched music videos/movies/TV shows, etc... you will notice that the MAJORITY of them had curly hair, (either natural curls or by perms,) including our girl CELINE! & that was just the norm back then... so no, mariah did NOT invent the curly hair/80s perm look & many others, such as celine, had that hair style before mariah did!! 🙌🙌

Curious, what was the playlist you made of Unison?

 

I agree that some of the upbeat songs are typical late 80s/early 90s pop songs that could stand being updated. It's interesting to think that Celine, Rene, and David probably did a pro/con list from Unison, and decided that we need more timeless pop songs to keep the career going. My only idea why many of these songs don't get performed to this day.

 

This is the order I listen to the tracks. For me, this order has a better flow and sounds more like a traditional Celine Dion album.
