I’m actually not opposed to “Look At Us Now” being either remixed or re-recorded as a duet for a single. But it has to be a good male voice. And who do we have right now???

Celine hasn't had a good quality duet with a famous singer in ages. I can't believe there's actually nobody asking her to colab.

Even Christina Aguilera who is supposedly "hated" by everyone has had so many duets.

I'm genuinely asking you guys, why do you think young artists never asked celine for collaborations?

One would think she is a hot deal given her legendary diva status

No need for a duet; just release the best songs from this album and record a mindblowing videoclip! No more black & white posing videos but make sure a story is been told. Hire good actors, a good director.. Look at Taylor swift how good her videos are. I thought Celine wants to act so much, well then show it! Man she can wear the couture she wants in her video, but make sure it appeals to a broad audience and make it really special!

Because the industry is all about streaming and Celine lacks in that department.

Before streaming, legends could still sell physical singles/albums so collabs with younger artists were still worth it for labels $$$$. But now all they care about is their streaming numbers to get a hit.

I think you need to realize that Celine is not 25 anymore. When she was the top female artist, Celine's music videos were much better than they are now (think IACBTMN, WFTM) and Sony invested a lot more money in Celine "the product." It will happen to Taylor too...

Plus when i listen to that song i envision sp much more interesting then her Walking ib front of a screen in black & white... Ah well..

No she is not 25 anymore but she is not that old either, in her 50s. Madonna who is way older can pull of interesting videoclips too. Celine does not have to swim or skydive from a cliff or whatever. Just gives us a video with a story

Maybe she has had offers but none that she was interested in.. Remember she has a status to uphold... look at her previous duet partners so unless someone like adele or mariah christina beyonce, bruno sma smith that type of artist approaches her i dont know if she will.

 

I was really hoping the heat between her and adele being at their shows etc would mean maybe a collab.. But unfortunately nopes... But i would love an album of duets but only if the songs are right each song she has done duet has been faboulous.

And personally neyo ais a good artist but celine needs someone that can sing!! to make magic like andrea bocelli like she once did.. Would love another colab from thoise two..

Well thats your imagination but i found both videoclips to be awesome!! unlike another that is out there easy to do another storytelling cheesy videoclip these stand out and look how they used parts of each fot the tour visuals.. thats being cohesive in your message your giving.

I think it was more René who pushed for a Neyo duet, than Neyo wanted it.

I think René thought that a duet with him would lead to a broader and younger audience. But it didn't do a thing.

 

I remember Aldo asked me what I thought of a duet with Ed Sheeran, so he was definitely more up to date in that area than René was.

 

I would love to have a duet that would make the media talk about.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Madonna pays a lot of money for her videos from her own pocket. She has a passion to create an experience at any cost.

Btw I don't complain about simplicity of her videos. I'm happy we have at least 2 from Courage album which is still more than from LMBTL and even taking chances! I'm just sad because she could've released even more having how on budget they seem to be.

Simplicity is a very different concept with boring. You can be very simple without being boring. Courage video is very simple but very boring at the same time. It’s basically just the same frame all over again since the beginning until the end. Imperfection was a little bit better. But I still think they should be and can be more creative. Like put a story in the video, give some colors towards the end to emphasize and to show the imperfection, etc.

 

Now take a look at Ashes video. It’s only Celine singing on stage and Deadpool dancing around her. Was it simple? Very. But was it boring? Not at all. The key is creativity, which I think her team doesn’t have one lately.

Madonna literally payed 5 million from her own pocket just for a performance at WMA, who do you think is responsible and founding her music videos? Her passion about music and showbiz is far beyond Celine's and anybody else's really. I can never imagine Celine paying anything by her own.

 

Yes, Celine is a showbusiness mogul too, but as soon as she gets off the stage she is not a singer anymore. I think we need to understand this before we start comparing her to others. Even Mariah lives as a singer nonstop, hence her social media posts. But then again, who do you think is a better mother? My best friend is a MC fan a he always says she's using her kids as an accessory:D
