One thing is for sure... the media are pushing her at the moment so when an album does come out it should get a lot of attention too!

Im not that happy with Linda Perry and Eg White. Not a fan of their songs on LMBTL and TC. She should collaborate with some more current songwriters.

Can somebody please be so kind to post again where did we get the info on these songwriters? I lost track on this thread! Thank you in advance!

There are recent pictures in the tour program in the studio! It seems she has been recording a lot and we never knew.... I wonder how many songs she has already recorded? There was also a picture with Diane Warren recently on her instagram account ;)

I think it would be awesome if she recorded with Sia. Sia has that vocal power to sustain a song with Celine, and she is a woman who is over 40, getting a lot of radio attention. It would be awesome.

That would be a great collaboration AS LONG as Celine sounds like CELINE. The last thing we need is a duet with sia where Celine is trying to sound like sia. But yes a classic Celine voice with Sia would be awesome!

I'm in the minority. I was hoping for no more Sia songs.

I could live without them, but prefer her songs over Egg-o white. Also if Diane Warrens songs are more simlilar to "Unfinished Songs" instead of " Nothing's Broken But My Heart" than she should keep her song lol.

I want to hear her sing "Nothing's Broken But My Heart" in this era. She should sing more love songs. It make people cuddle, cry, smile.. the 90's feeling 👍🏼

But once she settles back in Las Vegas it's like she goes under the radar again and is forgotten, never to be mentioned again for another year. :mdr:

If they release a single right now it would be phenomenal. But of course that won't happen. :wtf:

I think she has done enough this last year to keep herself in the spotlight.... she has attended nearly every major event!

I hope her comeback in vegas on September will be a new show. Changing her setlist, stage setup, lightings, backdrops/visuals, outfits, hairstyles, makeup, bring back holograms. Make it greater than A new day.

That's not gonna happen. Doing what you just mentioned often takes at least a year. With both Vegas shows she did, they started from scratch and designing from the bottom up requires a lot of coordination and time. And plus, she just had to plan 2 new setlist for this tour. I highly doubt she wants to plan a new setlist. I think she enjoys Vegas simply because she does what she loves but it's predictable every night.

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

we all know that the best team ever is

David Foster - He knows Celine better than other producer

Humberto G - He know what to do with her vocals

JJG - He is in love with Celine and that love works in amazing songs like SSDA and PQTAE

Linda Perry - she know what is the role of a songwriter

Egg White - is very sensitive in the songs, DKL is sublime, he used the best of Celine in a deep down voice

No thanks. No. No. No. NO!

A milestone in the career you create much better with innovation.

The courage you have on the stage now you also need in the studio.

And at the office desk. Fire Diane Warren, Gatica and Perry!

Meet instead in the studio with Tom Odell. Or Ella Henderson. Great Britain will thank you.

And what do I wish you for the US? Best of all, the presidency. With your big heart you are a Milliion times better than Trump. Sing us the song of peace.

Dear Lord, please bring back Stephan Moccio and Aldo Nova to compose another great song like ANDHC and save her from any other mediocrity approaching her...

Agree with Stephan Moccio but not because of ANDHC, I wish he stays away from that and brings something piano based/Orchestral, the guy is fantastic I'm addicted to his instagram videos.

What else is ANDHC-album version than piano based and orchestral? :hmm:

I would love stephan Moccio to write her another song. I wish she would try out some new songwriters/producers for this album instead of just sticking with all the familiar comfortable people. Don't get me wrong, I love Sia, Linda Perry etc. But it feels like that's already been done. I'd love something really fresh and different.

they have tried different formulas it went worst

the old team is still the best one ever.....Celine is kind of old school....she doesn't need weird auto-tunes and effects in her voice, she needs strong songs....great professionals....remember René always wanted the best songs and the best people to work with her

if they want new people i pray for Pharrell williams to produce an uptempo song :-D

Agree. By the time this album is released, having a collaboration with Sia will be like "old"... I want new collaborators and the most unknown, less popular, if the material is good enough, the better.

As much as we would like to believe, the Sia connection with LMBTL is not widely known. It's not common Celine trivia to the general public. Now that there's a buzz about Celine's and Sia has written 3 tracks, that will probably garner a good bit of attention. Sia is in demand as both a singer and a writer. This is a good thing.

LMBTL (song) isn't widely known, period. LOL

I'm all for Sia love and I'm a Sia fan myself! But I mean there's a lot of talented people who has and is probably sending songs to Céline. Sometimes they just accept songs written by this or that name because of the name, but in the end the song isn't something to take your breath away (ermmm insert here I Got Nothing Left, Incredible here?).

So yeah, let's hope the Sia songs are good enough, but the three of them. Not just one great song and two fillers that would be taking the place of other great songs discarded just because they weren't written by a "big name".

Also, there's nothing wrong with being Céline Dion and doing an album with less known songwritters or even unknown people. Look what happened with Les pétits pieds de Lea in Sans Attendre, a song written by a woman who had never written a song, and how beautiful and meaningful it was. Or just last year with "À la plus haute branche", which was also the first song ever written by Daniel Picard and whose background was not into music at all.

Sometimes I think that if they don't get big names, they're afraid of doing an album in any other way, and that's a mistake. You get the songs because they're good, not because of who has written them.

Celine is also a huge fan of Sia, so that has to be taken into consideration as well. Sia is more hit than miss with her songs.

I think her musical experimentation is not doing her any favor sales wise especially in the US (Taking Chances and LMBTL album). Casual fans and general public doesn't want her to sing songs like Rihanna or Katy Perry. That is not what she is famous for. She needs to go back to her roots. Sing love songs. I'd say she needs to go back to David Foster. Edited by dj_a_rock

David Foster isn't the only producer of ballads and love songs. I agree that that's what she does best, but I don't want him again. I want fresh songs. Love songs. But not David Foster. Edited by stevo
