I'm okay with Alicia Keys. The others? No, thank you. If she is to duet with an artist on her next album, I'd prefer to be someone new/up-and-coming, or someone barely known in the industry. However, IF it "must" be someone well-known, I would LOVE for a collaboration with Zedd. The work he did on "Clarity" was absolutely beautiful. The same with "Stay The Night."

First of all I love Rita Ora, but the style and type of song like this song titled " Your Song" is exactly the type of song that I think would suit Celines voice all while staying very current at the same time. This is the route I hope her English album will go. Some very good feel good songs that are just HAPPY and light.

Someone mentioned Snoop Dogg earlier.

It may be a controversial suggestion, but the more I think of it, the more I like the idea.

Even though his origins are in 'gangsta rap', he's one of those rare artists that can't easily be put in a box.

He collaborates with the widest and most random range of people (Psy? Martha Stewart??? He did a nature documentary???).

Often it's good, sometimes it isn't, but it's always good fun. And the video clip would be wild

I think him & Céline would probably hit it off.

The boyfriend of one of my friend work at a studio in montreal. he told me that every piece of music is done for the record. Celine is booked to be there on august 14th for a week to record vocals.

 

he has supervised the recordings of the music. he will not be there with celine because she will be with her usual engineers for the recording.

The deathline for the music recording was august 4th but everything is done now.

Nice for her but Celine deserves better then lollipop forgettable popsongs. What Celine made famous are her 90s ballads and powerballads like Think Twice, it'all coming back. Bring back those big songs and we're talking. She does not need be the next justin bieber rita ora or whoever that is relevant in todays business. The people that buy Celine's music are not the teens from now. Fine if she reaches them but she doesn't need to do songs like these. That is my opinion...

I asked him to tell me more about the sound of the new songs. He didn't want to say too much at first, but he said to me "it's clearly a celine album but maybe you'll be suprised". I dont know what to think. i think he just said that because he dont want to spoiled something.

 

He said that he was also working on the "Encore un soir" record and that the english album have less real instruments than EUS. There is a lot of computer generated sounds. but he also said that she does not seems very in control of the "instrumentals". There is a producer and he is taking care of everything. They just re-record the music the way the demo was send to have better sound quality. He did not heard the demos, he just had the partition of the demo and under the celine version to record) and its pretty much the same. She will be more in control of how the vocals are made I think. So sad he is not a big fan of her, he was like "who cares" eeeeeeh ME!!!

omg, Céline's going to disappoint a lot of people, she lost her husband, and people are waiting for an album with her personal feelings, they want to know/listen something BY HER, but she'll probably drop another album with 0 songs written by herself, this is awkward, if i were her i'd even buy some credits ueheuheueuheu
