For we already know Sia wrote her three songs, and I assume she'll use them. (Like we know she used 3/4 Zaho songs on EUS!) and then there's the Linda Perry and Eg White songs... so I really can't see many jazz songs on this album. SA cover was chosen by her and she insisted to get the drawing instead of her picture even if she was told not to. To date, that's the most ballsy and artistic cover we have had. Don't get me wrong : I love 95% of her covers for various reasons but objectively there's no experiment/ research or something. SA cover is a caricature of herself and sums up what she cares of in life and that's exactly the subjects of the songs in the album. You may like it or not, but the whole thing is a theme (font, pink colour) that was declined even on the single covers. 2 Quote

I liked how it said she no longer wants to record an album in rush and is taking her time and while she listens to opinions on songs etc she has the last say. Not because a bunch of Sony execs and marketing peeps, etc tell you that's what the kids want to hear, and forcibly try to compete with whoever they're playing on the radio these days. It's a bit out of kilt with reality - mainly the album sales - and also some context needed... As of January 2007, she had confirmed UK album sales of 8.997 million. Since then, we've had... 2007 - Taking Chances - 380,0002008 - My Love - 1,000,0002013 - Loved Me Back To Life - 350,000Other + catalogue - 200,000 That's around 2 million more at retail which takes her to approx. 11 million.
