CelineIloilo Posted May 21, 2017 at 01:19 AM Posted May 21, 2017 at 01:19 AM But Mariahs whistle makes us want to join Whitney lol Serious;y, first there was Whitney, then there was Mariah... and then there was Celine. Then NoBODY came after. She's just irreplaceable. And yes literally or figuratively she is above these 2 in album sales and in concert sales and in everything including singing other languages etc... LOL 2 Quote CELINE DION IS THE BEST. THE ONE, THE ONLY, PERFECTION.
celinesounds Posted May 21, 2017 at 08:27 AM Author Posted May 21, 2017 at 08:27 AM (edited) Neither of them came close to grabbing me like "Stripped" or "Back 2 Basics." Not even close.I love bionic, the problem was the video and the gaga thing, And burlesque songs are very nice too, she has sung 8 songs, nice production, nice vocals,Maybe she should do more jazzy songsShe never had a big team around her,But she is very talent, I'd love a duet with Celine, something like tell him Christina Aguilera Bionic Deluxe Edition (2010) : Edited May 21, 2017 at 08:36 AM by celinesounds Quote #FREEJAVITO

celinesounds Posted May 21, 2017 at 09:23 AM Author Posted May 21, 2017 at 09:23 AM I never understood why people compare Celine Dion with Mc and Whitney, great voices, but Celine style is so different, her voice, her look, everything The best thing about MC, is because she writes her songs, or pay to other write in her name Whitney was something big produced by Clive, never big in creativity when comes to name an album, her voice was sublime, but she got lost in her way 3 Quote #FREEJAVITO

Dancing_Queen Posted May 21, 2017 at 11:07 AM Posted May 21, 2017 at 11:07 AM Before that already She worked her @ss off for the first 10 years of her career and was extremely professional. All that started to change around 1995 when she started to have other priorities. The thing that really made her different from Céline was that she had no ambition. She never wanted to be as famous as she was. She felt uncomfortable with people treating her differently because she's a star and often said she had no friends (which sadly, I think was true). Céline on the other hand seems to LOVE being famous (it's what she always wanted) and I think she has the people skills to surround herself with the right people. I wish Whitney would've had the same. She'd still be with us... 2 Quote

Dancing_Queen Posted May 21, 2017 at 01:17 PM Posted May 21, 2017 at 01:17 PM Whitney was already doing drugs during the filming of "The Bodyguard." She actually almost quit the movie. That was because she thought she couldn't do it and was very insecure about her performance. She also had a miscarriage on set, so I guess that played a role as well. Anyway, she did crazy amounts of promo and a major tour for The Bodyguard, so she was still working a LOT. 1 Quote
comingback Posted May 21, 2017 at 01:18 PM Posted May 21, 2017 at 01:18 PM (edited) Whitney's drug addiction began at the end of the 80s, at the peak of the "Whitney" era. She couldn't handle her fame and the marriage withBobby Brown did the rest. There is a new docu about her, which claims she was gay/bi-sexual. Edited May 21, 2017 at 01:24 PM by comingback 1 Quote
Dancing_Queen Posted May 21, 2017 at 01:22 PM Posted May 21, 2017 at 01:22 PM But yeah, she was doing drugs already at the time, I'm not denying that. In fact she was doing drugs during her modelling days, before she got famous. But it only started to really affect her work around Waiting to Exhale. She admitted on Oprah that drugs became a daily habit when she was doing The Preacher's Wife. 1 Quote

A cause, A cause Posted June 3, 2017 at 02:50 PM Posted June 3, 2017 at 02:50 PM I was never a fan of Surprise Surprise. In fact I removed it from my Taking Chances album on iTunes and replaced it with The Reason I Go On. I don't like the music or the delivery and I find it boring. If I'm really honest I don't exactly love the song Taking Chances to bits either. Though that one is easier for me to listen to. I do love the album though! I just had a listen to Surprise Surprise again on YouTube... Yea... Still hate it. I hope Kara is not involved on this album I don't like the stuff she's done for Celine. Although I like stuff she's done for other artists and enjoyed the Platinum Weird stuff. One Heart makes my skin crawl too. Quote
stevo Posted June 3, 2017 at 03:45 PM Posted June 3, 2017 at 03:45 PM Kara is a b i t c h. And I don't mean because she was direct with Céline or told her what to do ( there's nothing wrong with that as she had a job to do) but her attitude stank and in all the clips she seems really superior.
