I would rather wait for new album until 2018, it would be great if she take time for some real promotion of new album, I can´t imagine big promotion in fall 2017 as there are plenty of shows in Vegas.

It all depends on how many songs they've decided on so far.

 

I'd be happy with 10 good songs, well produced, with a flowing feeling from A to Z

Well, she has one month off, from Oct. 7 to Nov. 7, and a big break from Nov. 25 to Dec. 30. More or less the same time off she had in 2007 (Taking Chances), 2012 (Sans Attendre) or 2013 (Loved Me Back To Life).

Yes I know, but 4 weeks is not so much and she will be after european tour so I´m not sure she will travel back to Europe and moreover it would be great once again if she had more time for promotion like 2 or 3 months but we don ´t know what their plans are.

Not really, they just "mastered" the final songs. They recorded everything in Las Vegas. The last recording session was in May.

 

I think Celien Addict is right, Aldo said that she was on studio whilst she arrived in Paris last June!...That's what I remember though

Yes, they were in the studio for "mixing" and "mastering". They didn't record any vocals.

With the European Tour I think it's almost impossible to record all the songs and release the new English album this fall.

My guess is that the new album will be release in Celine's 50th birthday (March 30, 2018).

I just hope for something spectacular! And hopefully with a music video like the short video she filmed for Vogue's Instagram at Met Gala 2017.

Although it's a nice idea... we have waited long enough for an English album and I think/hope it will drop in late October/early November this year.

 

She likes to record at night especially after a show like on previous albums at the palms around the corner and I think by now she must have recorded a good 7/8 songs easy!

I know we are all dying for this english album but she did just release an album last year, 9 months ago. So she has been busy.

That's when the lame shameful recording label of hers should have come to action and release those remix albums, Collector's series continuation, unreleased concerts, songs etc. But...

I've been MIA in terms of commenting but have been trying to keep up with all that's been going on. I'm beyond excited for this album. I know many complain about Celine doing cover songs but I have always been a fan of cover songs. I absolutely adore The Show Must Go On (both live and studio version). I hope the live version arrangement is recorded for the album or id even be happy if the live version is included. Also, id love to have Over the Rainbow and Purple Rain recorded as well!!!

I haven't thought of it that way before, that is a lack of English language albums especially considering the last one was pretty disappointing. George Michael only released 5 studio albums in his 30 year solo career, now that's an injustice! 😢

Ok not 1 or 2 albums per year. She only did that once in 1998. She was really building up her career in the 90's

From 2000-2010 she released 6 albums (2 albums in 2003)

Since 2010-2017 she released 3 albums.

 

Not counting compilations

 

She has done a lot more than many other artists. For example Beyonce has released 6 albums since 2003 but Céline has released 8 albums. Rihanna has released 8 albums as well, but that's from the beginning of her career, when she was still building a fan base.

 

Céline isn't doing that bad.

 

But maybe, since I enjoy her french albums and english albums, I'm more satisfied. Well ok I admit I love to hear new stuff all the time

So for those that only enjoy her English songs, I get the frustration..

Well, she looked MUCH better in the second dress. On 3 Boys and a New Show, Rene said they almost never asked his opinion about her dresses for the show.
