Well, she looked MUCH better in the second dress. On 3 Boys and a New Show, Rene said they almost never asked his opinion about her dresses for the show.

She did I agree. I just think the first dress was pretty but with all the lights shining on her, it would've washed her and the dress out. It was too close to skin tone coloration.

 

About the dress thing, I feel like they asked him but they only really asked about the white Versace one sleeve gown. Or at least they only showed that one perhaps....?

I also miss him. I can't believe it's been almost a year and half, this summer. Where does the time go? It's kinda crazy cause I just finished my freshman year of college and I'm like where did it go?!

Réne did not like the dress Céline wore at the 1996 Oscars. He thought it was too revealing. Céline got mad at him and wanted to wear it anyway. But his mind changed when he saw her in the dress

This album has been put on hold and the work will resume this fall. The release could even be postponed to early 2018. "The songs have been chosen and the project is developing, but we've been putting it on hold to concentrate on the Vegas and European shows".

The could just do 2 songs, maybe use 1 as a "summertour" single, with a live video to get theher hype starting...

I have said this from the first time he wrote about Celine after she started in Vegas. He makes my skin crawl.

Even if in the end one of those don't get on the album after all, nobody gets hurt.

If they do release a single, please let it be something uptempo and not another somber piano track. I also suggest getting an artist to feature on the song to generate some buzz.

I think that the reason why they are not going to re-lease and early single is because of social Media ,will diff pick up on it for sure, if you remember correctly she did even release recovering yet either , they talked about on the Today Concert series ,

Excuse me for being a fan and wanting new music..... and collaborations (like it or not) are what get artists more attention in today's music industry. Yeah she's making moves on her own but it just seems like anytime she has come out with something new in the last few years (as far as her english material is concerned) the hype dies down immediately and the song/album doesn't go very far. I know that it's not all about how much she sells, but it would be nice to see her make a huge and well deserved comeback.

There's nothing wrong with wanting new material. There's just a tone that gets set when people start things off "SHE BETTER..." It just comes off a little demanding. I didn't mean to offend you. I agree with you on what collaborations do, I just don't think she needs that right now. I would love just a full album of only Celine right now. This album should really be about her strength and perseverance after all she's been through the past year and a half (2 years by the time the album is released). A strong, emotional album, with Celine telling her story. I think that's most important right now.

Now this is funny Aren't exactly AS demanding all those fans who have been incessantly asking, requiring and demanding day by day and post after post, since last september, that she had to tour this year, just when she had done a summer tour not a year ago, instead of other options like releasing an album, or simply letting the woman... just rest???

 

"I hope she tours next year (2017)/She's better come with a new tour soon/They'd better announce the dates soon so I can organise my calendar!" and so on. Many even making predictions about TeamCeline announcements for tour dates and bookings just a couple of months since she finished last years's summer tour (crazy! Can the girl have a rest anytime?).

 

It never ceased to amaze me how many fans here demanded her to tour again this year, as if she owed you it, when the most logical thing was to release that new English album. When the most logical thing to tour, and the reason to do a tour, is to have some new music to present to the public. But no, you all wanted her to tour again. So you have the tour, now eat it

 

Well let me say that some other few fans (I know a very small minority) were just waiting for new music to be released. And then the consequence to that would be a tour. That tour would come, for sure. However, now we wont' get that album probably until 2018, and we'll see in what voice conditions, since it's obvious this girl can't have a rest from performing.

 

So those who have craved for a new tour even before having new music shouldn't have any right to complain *if* she comes with a tour consisting of all old material and no new music. That's what you were demanding all the time, what did you expect then???!!! )

This seems to be subliminally in response to me, and I'd just like to say, that I neither requested, nor demanded ANYTHING. Not one thing. I didn't even make a wish list for the tour set. Instead, I'm just excited that she is in fact, touring when she doesn't have to, and that I am fortunate enough to actually be able to go. I also accepted that the new album wouldn't be out until the end of this/beginning of next year, when it was stated months ago. Not for nothing, but we did just get a brand new album, not even a year ago. I'm very content as a fan right now.

No, it was related to your post but I didn't mean you were one of those fans "demanding" things . It is addressed to all those fans who didn't stop asking for a tour confirmation since the last tour finished in 2016 until January 2017. Three months with daily demands for a new tour in 2017, and now will inevitably come complaining that she's not going to release a new single or that the album is postponed or that she won't release any new music until who knows when. Well, when all those fans were asking day after day for that 2017 tour to happen, they should have known then that probably the new album would be relegated to a very second place. Those fans want everything to happen, at the same time, and we can't have everything.

 

To me, and as much as I appreciate her touring efforts, I've always preferred getting new music before tours or shows, and I've always said it's only logical for her to do this tour once she had released new music, but to each one his own.

 

We don't know if she's going to release a buzz single or premiere any new song. We don't know if she's going to include the umpteenth new cover in this tour and disguise it as the "new music" (just like she did in 2008 with TSMGO, It's A Man's World and We Will Rock You), but be prepared for something in that line...

 

But if a new album is coming in 2018, I highly doubt she will tour again anytime soon. And if she doesn't tour asap with that new album, then more demands and complaints will come from these fans, but those fans will forget that she has toured two consecutive years in Europe, that on top of that she has her Vegas residency always full speed, and that she barely has a rest from performing shows in order to concentrate and focus on new music...

 

We want a quality new album, with the best songs and the best voice possible, but are fans giving her the time to do so?
