Considering it's the Greatest Hits Tour, l'm not sure people feel interested in redeeming the new CD....

 

This has to change after the 15th, no? Or else, why call it Courage World Tour???

 

But the fact that she’s not do Imperfections has me skeptical.

 

I know from reliable sources that Celine really wanted a much more current sounding record. She should push for this music to be heard live instead of thinking people only want to hear old songs. The dicotomy is really disconcerting. As much as I love the new music and love seeing her live, the current setlist hasn’t got me excited to see the concert.

She has never in history added more new songs at a point in her tour. Never. They were always performed from the beginning

So it seems like the Deluxe edition of the album won't contain a booklet, but only this weird poster with her looking like a gladiator and on the back there will be the lyrics. I want a booklet!

For those who bought the bundle... Do they even get reminded, via email or whatever, on November 15 that they can redeem the album? Does TeamCeline even send out emails particularly to these people, reminding them to redeem?

 

Why would they remind you to redeem? You should have received the e-mail and redeemed immediately after your original ticket purchase last spring. I forgot I even sent it in, but I did.

I'm still looking how to redeem the album I sent a mail to bell center in Montreal to know the process and they told me I should get a mail by music redemptions and if I had any question .. to communicate with help@musicredemptions.com. Edited by manolo19

I got that email from Music Redemptions immediately after I originally purchased my ticket.

 

Though... did you purchase your tickets via Evenko? I think it was a Ticketmaster bundle. I got my original Montreal tickets via Ticketmaster Platinum since I decided to go much later after the original on-sale dates, but I never got a redemption e-mail after those purchases either. Which is just as well since I ended up getting refunds.

Coz i dont know how this works. So as soon as u receive ur email you can redeem. But you will only get the songs on November 15?

 

I was under the impression you can only redeem on the actual date of the album's release.

It's a physical CD they mail you. Nobody does digital redemptions any more because it's pointless. The songs will be all over the internet on streaming, etc. on release day anyway.

I expect (hope?) that she does more than the one appearance. Would be waste of a trip / promo week otherwise!

But you never know. Team Celine has made some odd choices lately (like that FB group they posted about earlier this week... what's that? Who's on Facebook in 2019? I mean, other than your grumpy grandpa... or is that the Celine target demo now? :giggle: They better have more up their sleeves than that!)

 

I'm disappointed by the lack of magazine features. Most would have already released their covers and at least promo'd the key content for this month, even if the full editions aren't out yet.

 

Who is in Team Céline anyway? Besides Syd and Pepe and her brother Michel....who is actually on the team? Do we know?

 

Sometimes having people you can trust and who have been around a long time...doesn’t mean they’re good! I can imagine a social media blitz that is 1000% more vibrant than what they have.

She has a mix of old & new in her team though.

 

When the post defending Pepe was put out, it was signed by Dave, Dee, Denis, Lina, Michel, Naomi, Suzanne, Sydney, Sylvie & Yves (don't know all the last names, sorry).

So I assume that's Team Céline.

We can hope most people redeemed their CD offer when they purchased the tickets to the Courage World Tour last spring before we knew what it was actually going to be, like I did. :) It's a free CD, why wouldn't you take it?

I am pretty sure the CD offer is a Ticketmaster offer for the North American dates. (Free was the wrong word since it's included in the $30+ service charge). If you purchase at the venue, there is little/no service fee, so I don't think you get the free CD.

2016 with Encore un soir

 

2008 with D'elles songs missing on TCWT

 

1998 with S'il suffisait d'aimer . Very few songs performed on LTAL tour

S’il Suffisait D’aimer had 5 songs done on the Francophone shows, same as when she did the TCWT for TC songs.

 

And considering how badly Delles flopped and the fact that other than ESNRQ (which did fit the show), almost the entire tracklist didnt really fit the show. Not to mention by the time she did Franco shows, Delles had already been out for a year and we saw the same lack of performing a year after release with EUS. As for EUS itself, after its release she only had 3 more shows, why add a bunch of new songs for 3 shows?
