A forum/message board is not a tool to reiterate, ad nauseam the same exact thing in every topic, with every other post. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Have a discussion. Close the discussion. Don’t bring up the same exact thing to try and prove a point in a different discussion. It’s irritating, redundant, and quite frankly; it’s uninteresting.

I heard some of the "newer" songs written by Dianne, to artists like Lady Gaga, to them she doesn't give the cheesey songs

as far as I can tell. I've never liked US something doesn't work there.

It would be cool if Celine will sing Dianne's more modern style songs.

One of Dianne's recent songs won a Grammy. Sometimes it feels like they give her the leftovers.

It's true but only for the past, US isn't known by the masses as far as I know.

I think that Dianne with the style she has been creating lately can bring another Grammy for Celine

what I love about her is that she always find new creative ways with her art.

Fingers crossed she worked with her for the new album and saved her the best.

I so wish we will see her more involved in that aspect of writing/producing, I think she has the talent for doing it

and might surprise us big time, she just needs someone that will motivate her to go for it.

If Sony will move their lazy #ss she won't be ignored by radio, why on earth she stays with her crap label for so long,

no promoted singles, nor normal videos

It seems that today they prefer to invest and promote the "hot" artists out there in every possible way!

but hey Celine is cooler than ever, she needs label that believe in her and sell her like hot bread to the masses

As for LMBTL I don't know if Sia thought it won't be a hit, imo Celine took this song to new highs

and did wonderful job and I think it did also well on charts.

I must say that I'm always exited when I read that Diane Warren writes a song to Celine because I hope that it could be a song that I immediately love.

 

Unfortunately, Diane has not witten one song in the last 10-15 years that was a hit or that I liked. I think they were mostly album filers. Yes, there were Grammy, Oscar nominations or wins but none of those songs were that good or memorable in my opinion. Nothing like BYLM.

 

There are talented writers out there who could create magic for Celine like Diane did 20-30 years ago for so many artists.

As i said, 2017 she wouldve began the album.

 

She couldnt just quit vegas and the summer tours served a very important purpose (see my other post).

 

Considering how hard she worked and the amount of other commitments she had + unfortunate events, 2 years on an album is not bad.. at all

 

In the press conference in Vegas on August 27th 2015 either Céline or Aldo (I think it was Aldo) said that the French album would be released in 2016 and the English one in 2017 so yes they certainly were planning to release it then. However you were right about the fact that René extended the contract to 2019 in 2013. I thought it happened later, my bad.

Not "for sure" but as I said Aldo, her manager at the time, said the album will come out in 2017. Then, in 2017 when she released her handbag collection Céline said that the album will come out in "fall 2018". I don't know if you really meant the "for sure" part but they definitely said something.

Yes, at one point a songwriter can't achieve the same

level of success they had In the past, also it's matter of good inspiration

but given the situation of today, she is doing not so bad I would say.

 

I'm not excited about another Sia song, it sounds so expected,

it will be great if she will work with unfamiliar names,

that might give her fresh lyrics and melodies.

Can't wait to know if some hidden talents got into her new work.

Well in which case, thats a positive change. More tech staff means more advanced staging and effects. Whilst i dont want anything weird like AND or insane like Madonna, id prefer even a slight upgrade from what we’ve had from pervious summer tours
