What would be the sense in releasing a single once the tour has started, and she obviously couldn't promote it?

 

The only thing that makes sense is releasing the single one or two weeks before the tour starts, so she can do at least one or two TV shows in NYC, while rehearsing for the tour in Montreal (that is not that far).

actually there are a thousand ways to promote it without having Celine physically everywhere. She could do it like she did with Ashes, send video messages to various tv shows and post loads of stuff on social media to create the hype. And when the tour starts they can show extracts from the concerts and talk about the song and the tour. It’s all possible, they just need to handle it right. She's not that into the social/digital/streaming things, we know it.

It worked for "Ashes" because of Deadpool, but we know her public is different and wants to see her on TV.

It’s been proven time and time again that Celine needs to be in person for her promo to work. Sending videos / songs to radio doesn’t work for her anymoooore and her social media team are....unreliable...to say the least.

well, I think that there were more factors to it, especially the fact that they first released a live version, there was no music video, and she never mentioned her new song even though she appeared on various events and shows and never said a word about having a new song out. The album has the bundles so no matter when it's released it'll be boosted by them in the first week

If (and I do realise it’s a big if) it’s a video for FOMO it would honestly show just how unorganised and out of touch they really are. Like has been said already FOMO has already (sadly) gone.

Celine career needs managing. Rene was a master. We’ve an album coming with no promotion. We’ve a tour with no other dates than USA North America. We had no single. It’s a complete train wreck. I wouldn’t be surprised if this album never appears. I think celine needs to ditch Pepe and get someone with the clout needed.

For the album release.. it's always November.. i don't know why.. but yeah! We have to wait that long as always.

 

For the dates for the tour... They will just keep adding.. So, I'm still hoping that she'll visit again in Asia for this tour

As much as I would like Celine to promote the single I honestly don’t see the point, it won’t help it in the charts. She wasted good slots (like Ellen) promoting LMBTL single and it did nothing, and now is even harder with streaming counting more. She can do some radio interviews and release a shocking video, with a cameo from a star or something to catch attention and get YouTube views. Promotion should be done and heavily when the album is released, we need a #1 album, that’s what I’m really hoping for.

After so many years of waiting I would love to have a new single coming to the radio soon and also a music video to promote it.

In November may be released the second single with a new amazing music video. This album must mark the Dionaissance in music.

And at the same time the last 10 years we had (2007-20016):

 

- Vegas, Vegas and Vegas and.... That's it ?!

- Same setlist every day, everywhere during 10 years

- An artist being obliged to follow the exact audio track for any live performance

- Bad english albums with no sense, bad production

- Awfull promotion with a high quantity but low quality: poor single choices, no live bands on TV or fake ones...

- A robotic Celine who lost it

 

I regret to sound like I'm blaming René, it's not about that, I have a tremendous respect for him, but what you are all blaming happenned under René and was intored by René.

 

You have the right to feel nostalgic, miss René or think it was better before. But I think you're missing some points or your reasons are the wrong ones.

 

What I see from 20016:

 

- Celine getting back to being a real interpret, willing to sing live and just kill it, taking risk, doing the acrobatic notes like she used to: A world is gonna change, the reason, think twice, the list is even long.

- An increased number of live performances

- The end of vegas

- Someone finally willing to propose new orchestration of her old hits.

- Someone wanting to test, try, explore, which is the definition of an artist

- Someone finally transforming into an artist

- A woman expanding her empire

- And a singer working hard since 3 years on an album

 

But, a woman being less of an housewives, less academic, less conservative and with sometimes crazy outfit. Deal with it !
