"Courage" album - Official Topic

Guys, I’ve been her biggest fan since I was a little kid too, and I love her. She is my favourite singer. Period.

 

But what I see currently is that she just doesn’t care anymore. She takes it easy, enjoys her status and is riding the waves of her 90s success while making the big money. She offers pretty much the same setlist and sings the way she sings because it’s easy. She just doesn’t want to put in more effort than necessary, because it’s not her priority anymore and because she got comfortable (which is understandable, because she is human, but sad for her die hard fans who always admired her for her vocal abilities). I think when she records in the studio, though, the songs should sound spot on (just like Ashes), because these recordings are forever.

the thing is the repetition, no need to say the same thing again and again. Not all people are suffering from amnenesia and short term memory loss. . There should be a limit of times that someone can repeat his "opinion" . i'm forced to add new names to the ignore list because when i feel that someone has notting new to say or that this is a new incarnation of the same old, what is the benfit for me to read that and losing my time, You think you need to repeat the same drivel , but people are saying they are tired to read that. Is that a matter of exp<b></b>ression or a lack of undersatnding?

 

Unless they do something and having more effort. Those repetitive complains might be gone. And i always say this everytime someone complains to other members since not all like seeing negative comments even though it’s not always or daily. You can just ignore and scroll up. Saves time

Because i wasn't talking to just you in the first place. Noone did. Maki did a general observation and you were the one to keep responding, on behalf of the rest. But when i say apples and you keep answering oranges, ignoring the point and just saying the same like a broken record, i don't see a reason to continue conversating with you. You either do this on purpose or you really don't understand. If you really don't understand and you want to solve this issue, i'm more than happy to talk to you personally and figure this out. When something starts in general and then gets personal, then you go to pm's "hahaha".

It can get dissapoining I can understand you, but If we think as well about Celine the person, honestly, it's not surprising she might find much more joy in doing other things than music, at least for these days, since she dedicated all her life for music/supporters. It might be hard to deeply understand that, but that's how things go. We will have to see what direction she will take with new Album/Tour

it would be lovely to see her still enjoying of that too when time comes.

 

I just hope she will keep enjoying (whatever that may be) and find peace of mind that is the most important thing imo.

Like all of you who reads what I post I am ALL for diversity and both good AND bad reflections. But please, please stop the arguing. I use to say "it's a forum not a cult" as a mantra. Now I might add "it's a forum not a battlefield" .

 

I have nothing against diversity. And nothing against different point of views. But I am very against personal attacks and drama queen maner like "I am out of here coz you guys aren't proper fans!". We're ALL fans dammit, accept it. There's no "proper fan". Some may praise, some may not. But be polite.

Again, an OK song can get really good with the right lever of production. Just like a really good song can get really bad with lacking production (HDYKTMP, NMQP, TSMGO). Even if they don't get good enough songs anymore, they could at least make them good when it comes to production. But they don't. I don't call Céline lazy. Would never do that. But I call her producers spoiled. They are too laid back and thinks too much "this is Céline Dion, ANYTHING she touches turns into gold and therefor we don't have to do an effort". The producton of late is sloppy, and yes lazy, and is a disgrace to the level of her talent (with Ashes as one of the exceptions). Period.

My top 1 complain is the production. I really hope they step up this time. I mean, she's céline dion a legend. One of the richest people in the world then when it comes to the production it's getting cheaper.

exactly, TSMGO sounds like a mic feed from a rehersal. It’s a joke and quite frankly embarrassing to release something like that from a singer like Celine Dion. It would have been much better to release a polished, proper live version. Edited July 21, 2019 at 10:48 AM by ryba

Then, if you think it's not then for you it's not. That's why we have different opinions. I have the right to say whatever i want to say about what i see and hear about Céline and her work since I'm a fan and I've been following her since i'm a little kid. So, obviously there's a bad and good comments to say. Even if we're not around her, we can still say what we want in this forum of what we like and we don't like about Céline. Again negative comments are always present in forums. Negative comments are also good to have an opportunity to make changes to be better and might learn something as well.

I don’t know what “ignoring” are you talking about but you’re annoyed because of the repetitive complains. As i have said if there’s changes happened maybe those repetitive complains not just me will be gone. It happens in real life too! lol

 

It’s really funny.. those who started replying to people you disagree with then at the end you’ll just say pm me so others will not be bothered by long reply disagree posts of you to that member you disagree with or complain with.
