Her bedroom voice back in 2007 is much better than now. So, maybe someone from her team or a producer should tell her that she eliminate the bedroom voice because it’s not pleasing to the ears. Move on with Water and the Flame. :)

 

Anyways, since we have no new music video from Céline yet for her upcoming album. Here’s the new music video of Beyonce “Spirit” from the live action movie The Lion King

 

I’m just amazed with the visuals. I wish céline will go back with these kind of creativenessnessness. I feel like her cancelled MV of Eyes on Me is close to this

 

IMO this song has some potential, but its execution is just horrible. I don’t like Beyonces way of singing it. The MV is great! I wish Celine had a MV like this, in nature. I can also imagine that (if there really is a EOM video) that it looked like that. Such a shame it was never released

Once she finds a musical Pepe, creativity will be back for sure. I don't care about her videos to be bombastic, I love the video for OOR

They said that this Beyonce song would be bigger than Circulo da Vida, but it's not, I agree that Celine needs a video clip like that, full of life, outdoors, but let's be honest, I do not think it will happen.

Madonna on her new album has 5 music video, I hope Celine has a decent treatment if I'm not going to have a heart attack. We're waiting a lot, I hope I do not disappoint this time.

Did you also notice that her production of songs got worse when she started working with that Hollande guy and no more with Humberto Gatica? IMO that was the beginning where it started to go downwards

She worked with Gatica many years, maybe she wanted to try something else. Though I understand she returned to work with him now.

Gatica was not her producer. Or at least only for a few songs back in the days.

 

I mean he produced "us" which is a masterpiece but also "the show must go on" which is a disaster.

Humberto has been her vocal engineer for ages. He has always done a good job, but that's not to say there isn't someone better out there...

I do agree with Hollande tho...

Hollande had been Gatica's assistant for years, so he got his expertise from him.. that's not to say he couldn't do things his way. So you think the "production" (they're responsible for her voice, not really the production of a song) is bad on 'Taking Chances'?

But [the style of] her voice on LMBTL is more of a decision by René/Céline/J. Doelp and the producers than of Lalonde's.

I have no idea why they messed up her voice that way, it's such a shame. Her raw voice is pure gold, they also change her voice on "FOMO", I wish it won't happen a lot on the new one.

In Loved Me Back To Life album, her voice is more forward, dry.... Céline explains this on 1:17

I hate it. I wish with this new album.. They go back to normal sound. No more bedroom/dry vocals, No more vocals too forward. Go back with vocals blending with the music. No more crisp and forward sounding. I want her voice to be soft again.

Celine is not as crystal clear and flawless as she used to be in the 90’s when she was peaking at 25yrs old. She now needs some help from the people who records her voice. It’s normal.

Celine is a 51 year old woman and her voice is amazing! I get that her voice isn’t as clear as before but she now has character in her voice which is what is recognisable about her voice.

Guys no one said her voice is flawless now, just wrotre they are stupidly messing up her voice, wanting to make her sound like Sia or heavens knows like what. Compare how she sounds in London's last gig and what they did to her voice on FOMO and mostly on LMBTL, that it's unlikely to support her voice and more like to destroy her unique voice on the albums.

The vocal coach is right on point, Celine is changing the way she sings and becomes "nassal". I don't know how to write this word in English! That way of singing might hurt vocal chords and on the other side, might be easiest for her to sing that way, hope that make sense lol. Anyway her actual vocal coach should be fired for letting her to ruin her golden chords.

Nasality doesnt damage the voice at all... in fact is the most common thing used to prevent vocal damage and take pressure off the chords

It's not the natural way of singing, that's why her voice sounds so awkward when she does that.

When singers are losing confidence, they will use the nassal sounds and other strange methods of singing.

Sometimes I'm sorry for Cel, she turned into this "voice monster", always people will want to hear her golden notes.

I dearly hope she will return to sing in her natural and normal way, she for sure can keep it simple.
