I saw an interview Ne-Yo recently did with Larry King and he credited JLo for changing the face of Las Vegas. My mouth dropped open that he never mentioned Celine. He used to talk about her whenever given the opportunity.

 

I wonder if he’s bitter for not being a writer on this new album??

 

Granted he’s on a new show with JLo right now so I guess he only speaks highly of people who create income for him.

 

So he’s NOTHING to me now. 🤣

Sounds like a terrible idea, so it might happen. I didn't like the sound of this snippet at all. It's very touch and go whether I like it these days. I'm not so fond of the usual lackluster production and her mature sound. It's definitely changed over the past few years.

They cut out the on the TV version of the interview. Glad he mentioned her!

 

But you'd think that, based on his history with Celine and his past comments about Celine, he would've credited her with changing the face of Vegas. It's strange.

 

But I imagine he gave that credit to JLo because she's paying his bills in a very tangible way these days by putting him on her TV show.

 

I just always find it fascinating when folks aren't consistent with what they say about fellow artists... Especially when it comes to working with the legends. It seems like most folks who've worked with Celine are always incredibly complimentary of her... But if they feel like they've been shut out of her career, they sometimes change their tune a little bit? I guess that's just the nature of the business.

 

I've always imagined Ne-Yo would always be a huge Celine fan and toot her horn whenever given the chance. So I'm glad he at least mentioned her and spoke highly of her.

Actually it’s one of the songs from LMBTL that I wasn’t fond of at first but over time I don’t skip when it comes on.... it’s a feel good song and I’m glad we have it.

Today, I was listening to the entire Encore Un Soir album during a walk in nature and I really enjoyed it’s summer feel, the guitars and most of all Celines own background vocals on most tracks! I love it when she does 3 or 4 layers of her own vocals in different pitches these songs on EUS are so rich and different in style, a great combination and a great feel good album for the summer, not too heavy and over dramatic. well she will come with some good songs to this cd shes giving away and then she will probably do a deluxe 2.0 version of the album with a bunch of new songs to make all the fans that got the cd for free buy the cd again.

 

and i expect this cd those with tickets in america and canada will receive is more similar in packaging to taking chances coz feels cheaper to produce and give.

 

the real deal you guys know we all are going to be buying later.

Actually I heard from a pretty reliable source that Ne-Yo was writing and producing a new track for the new album. But that was 1,5 years ago.

So it may fell through or it may still be on the album.. we'll find out later this year.

yes me too. Incredible and thank you are one of my favorit songs from the LMBTL album. But on TC, I´ve got nothing left, I like the song, but more the version with her real vocals, not the pitched up one on the album. If Ne-Yo is part of the courage album, I´m fine with it, if not, I´m also fine with. But I´m thankful, that he gave Celine those great songs

I was thinking about this the other day....probably has already been mentioned but not sure. I wonder if she purposely postponed the album to coincide with the tour, etc. after Vegas was done. She can't tour in the states while she's in Vegas so if that's part of what the hold-up was, pretty smart so the album doesn't fizzle out a year before the tour even starts. It would be hard to incorporate it into the Vegas show, aside from a one-off song being added to the set list. I'm sure this isn't the only reason but probably why she hasn't been in a huge rush to finish it sooner.
