Madonna is very smart

She has never been in a flop

 

She knows what is working

 

And Maluma is one of the top artists in the moment

 

Besides I like the concept of Madonna's album

 

And we can never compare them

Celine is a vocalist, a performer

Madonna writes her thing and she is a dancer who sings

 

 

I know that Celine writes songs, but is not her main thing

as Mariah would say „singing is a God given talent that I am greatful for. Her thing is something different“ loool

Madonna's song and video are horrendous and if that was Celine with Maluma (who the hell is Maluma?) I would have written & submitted my resignation as chief steward of her fandom immediately.

 

I want a Celine album. Don't let other artist hype and 'success' make you criticise/doubt Celine Marie! Madonna, Mariah, Celine and all of them have co-existed since the dawn of the dinosaurs so that can continue. Madonna is Madonna and Celine is Celine.

I love Madonna's new video, much better than the song. Different settings, different looks and hairdos, dancers all around...

 

Ah Celine...

 

Mmm... It's MEH to me. Far from her worst, but not a video one can watch more than once or twice. Sadly, the video doesn't make the song more attractive either (which is what I was hoping for). Bring on single number two!

It failed because it sucked; by Celine standards at least.

Most of the songs are really good on this album but the main problem with this album is Celine’s voice, it’s so dry and even raspy on most of the songs, not my cup of tea.

Perhaps is because EVERYONE is releasing an album before Céline! Madonna, Mariah, Barbra... P!nk just released a new album today only 18 months after her previous work; Cher is releasing the second volume of ABBA songs this year too... even Shania confirmed a new album coming this year too.

like i had also kind of mentioned about this in the "carpool karaoke" thread recently, i know we are all SUPER HOPING & PRAYING that celine will premiere a new song on "CARPOOL KARAOKE", BBMAS 2019", "HYDE PARK SHOW" in july, etc... (& yes i AM one of those fans too, especiasly carpool karaoke & BBMAS, i will NOT be atrending hyde park sorry, cant afford to travel out of the country anytime soon or ANYTIME really, but hey it is what it is...)

 

buuuuut trying to be REALISTIC here, with celine HERSELF already confirming a NOVEMBER release of the new english album, it does NOT look much probatible of ANY of those possibilities to happen @ ALL (unless celine & company decided to release the album EARLIER, but it looks like its not gonna happen or else we would have heard something different by now...)

 

personally i think a new song will NOT be released until @ LEAST SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER @ THE EARLIEST!! the ONLY exception MIGHT BE:

 

1. if celine tries to repeat another "loved me back to life" song moment, & MAYBE premiere this years new song @ the "hype park show" in july, just like she did @ the "USF SHOW" back in 2013 when she premiered "LMBTL" (then we all remember that the single came out in september, & the album in november,) like i said that is ONLY A POSSIBILITY @ this point...

 

 

but before then, i just DO NOT see celine bringing out a new song before the fall (unless she repeats the "LMBTL" pattern,) but otherwise her premiering @ BBMAS, CARPOOL KARAOKE, etc, IS HIGHLY DOUBTFUL... sorry just saying...

 

But she also said that there would be one or two new songs for the July BST show. Now whether the singles are officially released before that or if she premieres them there...only time will tell.

I have the strong feeling that Celine does not lije making videos, and even if she made one, most of the have been mediocre.

In these days success without a good video is not possible.

She said it on her dan wooton interview earlier this year, you cant blame being out of the loop on others. She literally said a few songs will come out and then the album will come and she hopes to perform a couple of new songs at the BST show

Have you heard Pinks song "Courage"? I think it is really awesome! Do you think it's the same Celine received for her album? I don't think so, because from what Celine sang to us on kimmel, it sounded like a way different song - a slow ballad - and Pinks song is so much more energetic and dynymic. I couldn't agree more! I think that Celine lacks of deep bittersweet ballads and this drums are great, (hope ashes had more of them at the end, that's why it should have had a third chorus!).

 

Pink new album, anyway, is a little disappointing. Definitely something very far from what a Celine album should be.

 

As I always say, I hope there will be a mood and cohesion in the album and not a mix of genres and styles.

Soundtrack/Movie version.. they always focus on cinematic bass/more drums compared to the Album version (which sounds more Pop). That's why it sounds more powerful/emotional and that's why i love soundtrack versions like in Aquaman, Deadpool 2 (Ashes)

& sorry to ask this but when & where was this "dan wooten" interview?? cause i had been referring to all of the interviews in early april during the launch of the ticket sales of the "COURAGE WORLD TOUR", & during any of THOSE interviews i honestly DO NOT remember celine mentioning about debuting a new song @ the "hyde park concert" in july...

 

now i DO remember celine mentioning in one of the interviews about the new album not coming out UNTIL NOVEMBER, so that is why i really did not think a new song would be debuted until @ LEAST september-october (just like with "loved me back to life" & "taking chances",) but NOT SOONER than that...

 

& always lets keep in mind that even if she does actually debut a new song @ that concert just like "LMBTL", it still might be a couple of months before the new single is released (just like "LMBTL" which was not released until SEPTEMBER 2013,)

 

cause again, it is the NORMAL PATTERN that celine has done in her career (especially in recent years,) & that is pretty much what we should EXPECT... 😔😔

 

now granted, i also think that heck yes, celine SHOULD RELEASE MULTIPLE SINGLES before the albums release like MODERN ARTISTS are doing nowadays, i agree with that 100%!! buuuut again, this is CELINE DION we are talking about, & sorry to say but reality is, celine DOES NOT really do what most MODERN ARTISTS do... so we should not expect this upcoming release to be much different going by past history of celines previous album releases... 😞😞

It is not about who sang the song. I was talking about these epic kind of songs, like the song from Aquaman and there you’ll be are the kind of songs i would like to see on the new album. Epic beautifully orchestrated, massive drums etc. songs.
