sorry but the last video is NOT a celine dion song, "there you'll be" is a FAITH HILL song back in 2000/2001, so i am not sure what this has to with celines music, but oooook lol... ✌✌😜😜😋😋

 

Don’t worry. It’s just an example and a trivia “There You’ll Be” was first offered to Céline Dion but she turned down this song.. it would be amazing if Céline sang this song :)

& sorry to ask this but when & where was this "dan wooten" interview?? cause i had been referring to all of the interviews in early april during the launch of the ticket sales of the "COURAGE WORLD TOUR", & during any of THOSE interviews i honestly DO NOT remember celine mentioning about debuting a new song @ the "hyde park concert" in july...

 

now i DO remember celine mentioning in one of the interviews about the new album not coming out UNTIL NOVEMBER, so that is why i really did not think a new song would be debuted until @ LEAST september-october (just like with "loved me back to life" & "taking chances",) but NOT SOONER than that...

 

& always lets keep in mind that even if she does actually debut a new song @ that concert just like "LMBTL", it still might be a couple of months before the new single is released (just like "LMBTL" which was not released until SEPTEMBER 2013,)

 

cause again, it is the NORMAL PATTERN that celine has done in her career (especially in recent years,) & that is pretty much what we should EXPECT... 😔😔

 

now granted, i also think that heck yes, celine SHOULD RELEASE MULTIPLE SINGLES before the albums release like MODERN ARTISTS are doing nowadays, i agree with that 100%!! buuuut again, this is CELINE DION we are talking about, & sorry to say but reality is, celine DOES NOT really do what most MODERN ARTISTS do... so we should not expect this upcoming release to be much different going by past history of celines previous album releases... 😞😞

They concentrate most on tour bcoz in these days albums don't sell much

If u think her team will focus on her album promo or else ......nope they'll not except some interviews

oh wowwwww, i really DID NOT KNOW that celine had originally been offered the song "THERE YOU'LL BE" & turned it down!! wowww i guess ya learn something new every day right lol...

 

Not just that! Also "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing"!!!!!! From the movie "Armageddon" lol

Wouldn’t it be cool if in addition to My heart will go on she would have also recorded There you’ll be and Don’t want to miss a thing? That would make her the queen of deamatical tragedy movies hahaha they were all huge successes, so it would have been kind of cool and epic! :D Edited by ryba

People and radios were fed up with MHWGO so imagine if she had done another movie song right after! Good decision from René and Céline!

Now let's stick to the new album… :D

Techanically yes, but she recorded Sous le vent with Garou in 2000 while being pregnant and then in summer 2001 she was already recording ANDHC, so... hiatus wasn't really the excuse.

The fact is, there was a chance the song could have been a hit. Meaning coming prematurely out of retirement to promote it, leaving her mom-job which she didnt want to do, and probably delaying ANDHC and her full return.

Why did they care whether or not the radios would be fed up with her? If the songs TYB and DWTMAT were huge (which was the case) they would be forced to pay them making Celine even more legendary! :D Edited by ryba

Imo if Celine did DWMAT it wouldnt have been such a hit.

 

It was a hit due to the genre, how Aerosmith delivered and interpreted the song and wouldnt have (imo) really fit with the public perception of Celine at the time... it would’ve probably been seen as cringey... never the less i love the aerosmith version

Ahh, so there were times when apparently "she didn't want to saturate the public" with more hits, and now... she doesn't release any music in 6 years! I guess there has to be happy medium, Celine? :giggle: :hmm:

 

But of course she wants to tour every year

The hair colour makes her look so much healthier than the grass / hay blonde
