Sometimes it's because it's Celine herself who teases us with things she says she'll do, and then BAM, nothing happens. It never happens. And we know nothing about it anymore

 

Remixes for Somebody Loves Somebody,

 

Videoclip for new single (EUS) and "I can't wait for you to see my new video" and then the most absolute silence comes after it. Nada...

 

Now she's teasing us several times about how many dozens of songs she has for the new album and how excited she is and she wants to sing them all, and that she can't wait to sing them for us, but then... the same songs are performed over and over again. The same old hit is performed on a prime time TV show or, worst, a cover that has nothing to do with the new album. So let's see how MANY of the NEW songs she ends up singing in her tour, and on TV...

you should appreciate more what she actually does, like the performance of A change is gonna come. It is enough for me at the moment. She gave it her all. And i doubt someone else would have done it better. It was grandiose. She can't be grandiose every day of the week.

Even if you love what you do, it's not reasonable to expect her to cater to our every whim. She doesn't need to do any of it - let's be grateful she still gives us so much.

Watching closely the rest of the Facebook Live event and when asked about how she's picking the songs to cut it down to only a few in the album, she says she would like to have them all and she asked if they could have a "triple album", and that they're "thinking about it"

 

Well knowing how goofy she is and that it's becoming harder to know when she's speaking seriously and when she's joking, I think we should take this with a grain of salt, but maybe just *maybe* the idea to have more than one disc in the album has already been proposed, and no less than by her

 

If she really has recorded like 50+ or 75+ songs and she says she loves them all and after all this 6 years Sony still forces her to have just 12 songs in the album, I would really abandon that record label and tell them to f*** off!

 

And btw, Vito Luprano (aka Executive Producer from Sony Music on all Celine albums) was there in the audience, and when she said "they're thinking about it" I'm sure she looked at him. So there's no way they're not aware of Celine's wishes and her insistence on the amount of songs they have now for this album!

 

Edit: also exciting part is when she says she loves all the songs she's recorded and that there's not "one song in the album that I don't love, because if I only like it, it's out". Sounds promising... We'll see!

Celine at 39, actually embarked on her “Taking Chances” World Tour, one of the most successful grossing tours EVER! I think it’s in the top 2 or 3.

See that there are 2 camps when it comes to Céline her career.

 

The fan in me wants to have a new album each 2 years, and 4 singles with videos and lots of promo and live performances.

Not gonna happen.

 

And yes I get 'jealous' when I see how other artists release their albums. But maybe that's because it's been soooo long haha.

 

A thing I definitely agree with Javito is that Celine teases us many times with ideas.

 

Somebody Loves Somebody, I hear a remix, playing in clubs. Result :nothing

 

Regrets that D'elles hasn't been performed more. Result: nothing

 

Recording 50 songs, wants to release a triple album... Come on Celine, you are THE BOSS, if you want to, do it. Make them do it. What could go wrong?

 

Anyway, there are also a lot of great things being a Céline fan.

But her creativity and her love for music and her own repertoire, and the things she says, isn't always showing in the end.

How that happens I'm not sure.

 

But I think we slowly go in the right direction.

We will see it soon with the artwork and choice of songs for upcoming tour.

believe me ..whenever i can J listen to Ashes and i put the volume loud and let the majestic score and her soaring voice fill my livingroom.

I want to have more of these gorgeous Celine songs please.

Okay i am on repeat - but Ashes showed us how Celine used to sound; epic! More of this please!! I want a whole cd with powerballads and some catchy uptempo songs.

No experiments like Celine rapping or do dubstep. Dance like Fly on my own is very welcome though. I hope they give us at least a new single soon...september is so far away..

me toooooo!! it has been over 6 YEARS since the "loved me back to life" album was released, & yes i know we do have "ashes" which is great & i love that song too, but it is ONLY 1 great song in 6 years (sorry but i really DO NOT COUNT her crappy version of "the show must go on", "recovering", or "how does a moment last forever", i do not care for those songs, again sorry!!) 😞😞

 

yea i am hoping the album is great as all of her other albums of course, in fact i really do not even care what genres she will try (except for rap & heavy metal, which sorry but i can not stand, YUUUCK!!) all i care about us getting some DECENT NEW MUSIC from her & hopefully getting it sooner than later!! 😍😍❤❤💕💕

Can I just say you're doing such a great job?

I like how this forum isn't a dictatorship where people get banned for the dumbest reasons or the slightest criticism. I'm sure it takes way more effort to try and be fair and issue warnings instead of just banning someone outright whem they annoy you, so thank you for that.

 

But yeah, the personal attacks, the endless repeating of the same monologues by the same members (it's not a discussion if you don't listen to what the other has to say??)...really need to stop.

oh yes but this article was very interesting to read because it gave us information how Celine’s voice is recorded and processed when recording a cd. And it shows that Celine is a perfectionist when recording her voice. Very interesting and you can be sure it goes the same way recording this new Courage album.

My guess is we see the new single either end of this month around when Celine is on carpool karaoke OR right after the Vegas show ends around mid June.

 

Also, tho we all want new music, I for one am ready for Celine to start her new chapter after the last Vegas show, otherwise every single question she is asked if she promotes it on television will be asking her about ending Vegas instead of the tour and album. So I hope at this rate she waits until mid June.
