me too! I’m excited lol it’s been a while since I’ve felt that way about her new music. Now the excitement is even bigger since I know that Flying on my own has the potential to become a summer smash hit around the world, since it’s an awesome , upbeat uplifting song produced by Guetta and Sia, something we hadn’t had before. Why are people still attributing FOMO to Sia and Guetta?? Didn't we find out a song called Flying On My Own got registered with Jörgen Elofsson as the creator (who also has been with Céline in studio for the new album) - or did I dream this? 😂

it would be really nice but on saying that i don't know how much Celine's involve in making the song beside her vocal

so if they ever do it, it would probably mainly the song writer, musician and producer not much Celine for sure

You’re right! It’s even on BMI Repertoire, clearly the song isn’t by Sia and David Guetta. I’m also starting to think that the snippet we’ve have heard is maybe a remix and not the album version.

wouldnt there be some kind of footage of her filming it by now available in that case? Cause I doubt that she could do that without people noticing it or posting about it on social media. I mean if it werent for her posts on IG we wouldnt of known her Pepe, Sid and Dee were running around Singapore and Bangkok taking pictures and enjoying life so it could be entirely possible. Plus didnt she take like a month long holiday off after the tour?

Nah..i'm pretty positive we'll get FOMO or whatever is called. Not because it's the logical move, because screw logic.. just because they actually shared it first, plus it mostly got very good comments. Also we know there will be some remixes and this seems like a song that can take a lot of different ones.

Maybe we'll get Courage during the BST event.

Why would that be funny? Isn't that the premise of the show?

 

At this point it seems like a 50/50 chance that she'll premiere a new song. Carpool Karaoke is often done in conjunction with a new/recent release, so it's not out of the question. Elton John sang his classics, along with his then-new single. Same with Paul McCartney, Adele, Gaga, and others. Of course, there have been others artists that have only included old hits, and if Celine's new album really isn't coming until the fall, it seems less likely that there will be anything new quite yet. My feeling is that I've been waiting a few years for her to be on the show, so I'm just delighted about it happening at all. If there's something new, it's just the icing on the cake.
