But I have to say that I don’t mind her green screen music videos at all! Quite the opposite. Look at ANDHC: she is standing on a cloud above a city. It looks stunning. Great concept and fits the song so well. Also I’m alive. She is inside a plane. Again, great visuals! I prefer that a million times more than videos where she sings and they show some random people. I’m also a huge fan of the IDAN video. This one is very simple, but so well done. A lot of Celine in it, from all different perspectives and so many close ups. It fits the song so well too. For those who haven't listened to the piece I posted here, it's worth pointing out that one of the journalists involved theorizes we might see a Lady Gaga track on this (though she seems to base this theory solely on the fact that Celine wrote that piece for Time, so probably a long shot.)

Another contributor notes he's heard that Celine's team is apparently very enthusiastic to let the album into the world, that they're super proud of it. For what it's worth...

Don't be impatient people, I for once think her team is doing things the right way. They are building momentum. It seems they believe in the material they've got and everyone is aware than Celine's popularity is at a new peak now. I trust we are getting good things and the single is for sure going to be out before the London concert so it's less than two months now. They are just waiting for the right time. Have faith

I just heard the snippet of "I won't take it lying down" on Carpool Karaoke. It smells very Kara Diaguo (or what her name is). Are we sure this isn't a part of the song Courage? I just figure since it's about the same theme.

 

I am so confused why they took a piece of a new song when there doesn't seem to be any single on the way. Very odd decision. Or do you guys Think they planned to have one out by the time Carpool Karaoke aired and delayed it for some reason?

 

To me, this snippet isn't as strong as that we Heard of FOMO, and I wished they used that instead. Coz this track judged by the very few seconds we hear says filler for me. I hope I am wrong though, and this song turns out to be superb!

I really really love Madonna, but let's get the facts:

Madonna hasn't had a (U.S) number 1 single since 'Music' in 2000. I'm not sure Medelin even charted.

Also, Madonna's last album Rebel Heart did not debut at 1.

 

Anyway, can we stop doing a post-mortem of Courage before it's even released please, it's getting ridiculous?

I'm pretty sure their team is much smarter than me and they have a marketing route for this album buuuut let me say it's makes hard to find any sense to this again...If there is no single tomorrow.. all these snippets are pointless... I don't understand whyy you give Corden a song to "learn" for the shooting of the carpool if no one is going to listen to it before the show.. and you are not going to releaseit inmediately after the show... Even as far as I know it's sad that in this global media world ... there is actually no reaction of Celine on Vegas.. not even a random comentary on the show about carpool? it's like parallel worlds... (well maybe I haven't still see nothing) I don't know... it's kind of sad but lets see...

I don't have my expectations too high... kind of long bad buzz to find then a mediocre album with some good songs and a lot of outdated filler songs.. I learned from Loved me back to life... did they?

Release the new album in summer and rerelease it in November or December with smashing bonuses, a DVD, recording sessions, many bonus songs(they have enough!!) a picture booklet, best moments so far from the tour, some performances... Like really?!

Even if Celine "sang" some parts of these songs in the past, it doesn't mean she had actually recorded them at the time. Maybe she was just listening to some demos that were sent to her and couldn't stop thinking about the great melodies.

People need to remember that just because someone has a marketing degree, it doesn’t mean they know what the hell they’re doing. There is a reason why people make fun of those degrees. Just sayin’.

LOL - It’s true, though! Especially in retail. So many marketing “experts” never bother to actually get to know the true wants and needs of the public. They get their shiny degree, get a job in an office, and then act like they know everything without ever having set foot in the actual trenches. Many are incredibly disconnected with reality. Yes, there are some great ones, but they are few and far between.
