If they released Flying on my own now for the summer now, its so obvious how well it would do in the charts !!!!

 

why wont they let it happen ……....??? its like they don't want her to get number one ……….but then Miley Cyrus/Katy Perry etc etc always releases her songs properly, within the hype etc ……..…...with Celine it always fails.

Its so annoying...….seriously frustrated, they shouldn't be teasing with a really good summer song, and then it doesn't even get released. whats stopping them???

They keep wasting opportunities and wasting songs, I cant believe nobody on her team or her herself cannot arrange a single to be released - a good single , at a good time ….I don't get it

Being optimistic is one thing but this is delusion, I'm sorry. "It's so obvious how well it would do in the charts" really? How is it obvious? Ashes was hyped by Deadpool, which is a huge promotion on its own and went to 14 bubbling under. How would a random single with no huge machine behind it like Deadpool do well in the charts?

 

Also Katy Perry has been haveing flop after flop lately so your example is not good. She's charting better than Celine of course but she's 20 years younger than Celine, a bigger streaming force than Celine, an average age of fan Base smaller than Celine and her peak was literally no more than 6 years ago.

All the same things apply to Miley, she literally is 26 years old. And she's been having a few flops lately as well but for both of them it's due to other reasons.

 

Some of yall in here really think Celine can release a song and it'll chart and be a hit just because it's a good song or something. That's not how it works........

 

Carpool is a good promotion but not on its own. Releasing a song now just because of Carpool would do absolutely nothing on the charts. It would get like what 15 thousand sales maybe 20 and that's all. It would end there since she had no other planned promotion.

 

I personally don't care about Celine charting anymore, she's been there done that. If she does it would be a great surprise of course and I'll buy and stream the song as much as I can but I'm not delusional

Of course they could try and they have potential tbh, and Sony is huge enough to push her if they really want to. I'm just saying it's not just about releasing the song though. She's not ariana grande where she can just drop a song and it'll break Spotify 24 hour records and go top 5 without much effort from their part.

Releasing the song now would do nothing because she's in Vegas and can't do further promotion. Keeping the carpool for later would be better but releasing a song now and then Celine being stuck in Vegas for the next weeks has no point

While I understand their decision to release the album in the fall for a sales boost — we are all craving at least a single or two during the summer months.

 

I just want a summer of Celine music!

 

I imagine we’ll get a single once Vegas is over and she’s officially starting anew with Hyde Park & the new tour. It makes perfect sense.

 

The James Corden appearance was still a part of this final Vegas chapter. It was all about Vegas Queen Celine. But the new chapter is finally coming! And that’s when we’ll get new music.

 

They’ve done a great job generating buzz so far and laying the groundwork.

SNL just had its season finale, so this is fake news. If she does get booked on SNL, it won’t be until the show returns for its 45th season in September.
