Based on the snippet, IMO Flying On My Own will be Celine’s most catchiest single I Drove All Night (if FOMO is the new single of course). I don’t understand why some people are saying she’s trying too hard, you want her to release boring songs like Recovering and Ashes ?

Since we had "A New Day Has Come" and for some obsessed fans it's one album they would like to be replicated again, how would be treated the idea to have an uptempo themed album, sort of that dance album many of us have dreamed about since ages ago, and be called "A New Night Has Come"? The Celine "dance" album

It's useless to keep a conversation when it's all about prudish, narrow-minded or just fans that one day they seem living in the XXV century and the next day in the XV, bitching all the time others because they're blindly thinking whatever Celine does (or doesn't do, better said) is always BEST

 

They see the scandal on Madonna doing her thing with the title of a new song -like she's always done- and that's "too much" but when Céline keeps 6 years without releasing any new music in English to me that's probably "too little"

 

And what's the problem with Madonna here now? What has to do the title of a song here with Celine? Let her do her thing, which is what she's doing as a singer and recording artist. The point made is that she has released a single and tracklist, the point is that we've seen all the big names releasing albums all these years and once again we keep waiting for Celine's. I'd rather have Madonna daring to do what she wants and always truth to her provocative style than Celine doing nothing when it comes to new English music for 6 years and counting. And God knows when Madonna releases a new album and single, the world knows AND she promotes it to the max wherever she goes.

 

The difference between Madonna and Celine is that Madonna always goes one step further and has no fear to fail or disappoint, whereas Celine it's always one step further and two backwards, and that's why her albums haven't gone anywhere nor haven't left any legacy since 2002 (contrary to Madonna, which has always had at least one single that has generated impact when not been a success again in radios and clubs).

 

Also, we all know Madonna prioritises all the album making process over the live performance, while Celine is the contrary, she rushes the recording and she wants to tour before giving new music.

 

Let's see how much of the new album Celine will release is really "new" and "fresh" and how many songs from it she takes on tour...

 

And there is Javi's ode to Madonna. Praising every other artist no matter what and bringing down Celine every chance he has.

 

Madonna hasn't been a step further since Confessions, she has actually jumped in the wagon of the "star" of the moment for every album since then, Justin Timberlake, Nicki Minaj just to name a few, and now Maluma. And as many Madonna fans are complaining, it feels she is the featuring in her own single and Maluma the lead artist. I wouldn't want the lead single from Celine to be a featuring with Ariana Grande. Celine name alone is powerful enough to sell, she doesn't need to be desperate.

 

And in this decade Madonna has released two albums, Celine three + a few English singles. So Celine is actually more proactive in the studio.

What you just did with your Celine's bashing Vs Madonna is exactly what you condemn.

 

I'm not sure it was very complementing to describe Celine as a non transgressive artist singing about love hands in the air on a Guetta/Sia production. We are talking about how to stay relevant in the POP universe when you are 50-60 without having the feeling to push the thing too hard. In other term, how to integrate agism and sexism when you are a female around 50. This is interesting, and for that we need to speak about Madonna, about Janet, about Mariah, see how everyone is dealing with that. Madonna has reached out so many time about that, it is interesting to observe her response to that in comaprison to Celine for example. This is it. Once again, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ? Nothing, just this pathological need to bash and express the same limited ideas with the same exact phrasing EVERYWHERE.

 

So I'm questionning myself : So far Madonna's response has been to associate herself with all the newcomers and actual trend (Timberlake, Minaj, Diplo and now Maluna).... People seems to think that it looks a bit too desperate, the more she is trying, the more the response is quite negative. I'm questionning myself if her response to agism and sexism is the right one. Will Celine will do better with Guetta, I don't know, it looks way more conservative for sure as explained. You are talking about prudish ?

For me, I don't mind if Celine collaborates with younger and fresher artists. History (and Sony, her team, etc.) has proven that THEY DONT KNOW OF THEY DON'T CARE to "exploit" that buzz or the new fanbase, the younger artists brings. "Incredible" with NeYo was a joke! No MV during the first months, no promo, NADA, niente, nichts. The "Eyes On Me" RNB version with Will.I.Am was also a great opportunity to promote something new and fresh but they didn't care.

 

It doesn't matter if Celine records a song with Lady Gaga, Grande, Bieber or any other artist. If they will not release and promote it will be just a collaboration in her history book.

Technically speaking, it hasn't been 6 years. LMBTL was released in Nov 2013. No one will start working on a new album immediately after they have released a new one. Also, don't forget the biggest thing. She lost her husband of 21 years. She had to take care of him and if you've come across any cancer patient or anyone else, it isn't so simple. There's a lot of suffering and pain that the entire family goes thru and not just the patient. I've personally lost 4 close people to cancer.

Instead of complaining all the time, understand someone else's situation.

Among all of this, will someone prioritize making music or taking care of their dying spouse?!
