Popular Post ryba Posted April 10, 2019 at 09:17 AM Popular Post Posted April 10, 2019 at 09:17 AM (edited) I think that part of the reason why ANDHC resonated so well with us fans is that (apart from the songs being awesome) this album was very personal and every song spoke about something that Celine was going through. LMBTL and TC were albums where she pretended to be somesshe is not, they were not relatable and lacked authenticity. It felt more like she did her job and fulfilled her contract by releasing these albums, but there was no real personal relation. That’s why they didn’t resonate so well with many fans (at least with me). So for me it’s not so much about dance or ballad, but more about intention and content as well as a good balance between upbeat and ballads Edited April 10, 2019 at 09:21 AM by ryba 14 Quote

Popular Post Nando Férri Posted April 10, 2019 at 03:45 PM Popular Post Posted April 10, 2019 at 03:45 PM (edited) TC and LMBTL are my favorite 2000s albums exactly because she was not just singing the same things only about her. For me, she was finally bringing back somethings that people outside her life could relate to. Love is not always great, love hurts sometimes. Yeah, a lot of women out there are in abusing relationships (This Time), there are people who were envolved in situations of non-love (I got nothing left), sometimes people comes to fall in love with someone very close that can’t see the other with the same eyes (Right next to you) and sometimes good relationships ends and we do what we need to do trying to move on (Water and a Flame). For me, she brought the artistic side of the thing. Not everything needs to be only about her own experiences in life. Sometimes we want to be inspired by others lives, sometimes we want to feel understood. Just my view of this... Javito Posted April 10, 2019 at 05:18 PM Posted April 10, 2019 at 05:18 PM God, I just hope it’s WAAAAAY better than both TC and LMBTL albums, they both had a couple songs I liked but they both left me underwhelmed, maybe I just don’t care for that “bedroom/ grainy” voice, I like my Celine with more reverb. Remove A New Dawn and A Song For You from the TC album and replace them with Map To My Heart, The Reason I Go On and There Comes A Time, and I think we have here a very good and consistent album 3 Quote "Hush, now... Plus, I don't see how ANDHC or any album before can be related to her life as well (beside some specific songs). An album like Céline Dion is a fraud then as most of the songs are break up songs and she has never experienced one... 😂 1 Quote

An album like Céline Dion is a fraud then as most of the songs are break up songs and she has never experienced one... I'm Alive, Right In Front Of You, Have You Ever Been In Love, Rain Tax, A New Day Has Come, Goodbye's, Prayer, At Last, Super Love, Sorry For Love, Aun existe amor, The Greatest Reward, Nature Boy... All of these songs can be totally related either to her newborn child back then, or to René (as any love song really), or to her mother obviously in GTSW. Only I Surrender (which talks about a hidden/forbidden love), Ten Days, and WTWOLYR aren't really connected to her personal story. Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
emi&celine Posted April 10, 2019 at 09:04 PM Posted April 10, 2019 at 09:04 PM For me WTWOLYR speaks about her story with René. For some people he was the « wrong » one...but he loved her « right » « Nobody knows you like I do, the only one for me is you » And then their unrealistic/unconceivable love story reached its peak when they had RC 😊 1 Quote

CelinesDIVO5 Posted April 11, 2019 at 03:17 PM Posted April 11, 2019 at 03:17 PM I love “Skies of LA.” I thought it was a beautiful closer for the TC album. To lump any of the songs on that album into the “worst of her career” is nonsense. “Let Your Heart Decide” should come before any songs on the TC tracklist. 4 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

I've never liked There Comes A Time, and I think it's one of the worst songs she ever recorded. how different we fans are, I love there comes a time a lot, it´s a beautiful celinestyle song in my opinion. Also on the TC alum or LMBTL aren´t any bad songs in my opinion. These two are some of her very best albums ever , but one can´t discuss about tastealthough there are some songs on both albums I don´t listen to often (overjoyed on LMBTL or new dawn on TC) but I wouldn´t consider them as "bad" or "worse" songs. It´s just that I can´t listen to them on repeat (same goes for super love on ANDHC, or forget me not on OH etc.)... Edited April 11, 2019 at 04:52 PM by ordinary fan 1 Quote

SOLA is an amazing non-commercial song ... is more like an Ode to these days relationships. Is incredibly produced and is Minimalistic song with the huge impacr. Only a person with no artistic soul could say that this song is a "waste on tracklist" ... it's the song with the deepest meaning on the whole album. If this song would be a building it would be the Bauhouse peace of art <3 1 Quote
