Dion2000 Posted September 16, 2018 at 04:36 PM Posted September 16, 2018 at 04:36 PM Dave Platel is NOT in the role of manager. Yes returned as part of the team after Aldo left but he’s more of an advisor and I think possibly a finance expert for Céline. However Céline is still without a manager at least formally. I just really want to know why Aldo left so quick, everything seemed so bright and optimistic when he was involved, we know Céline probably paid him well, unless maybe not because she NEVER had to pay her husband and if she did in the end it was left to her children. Anyways, I don’t buy the whole story of Aldo leaving to focus on family... he knew what he signed for and a year later he leaves... something personal must have happened. I hope she finds a new young manager with the times but if she must Setlle for a more old fashioned person or not have anyone at all, it would be better to get someone who she feels a René like manager style.... i personally think Emilio Estefan would be great and be better than nobody, that’s if he’s looking to manage 2 divas! Who knows, but they defiantly need someone at the helm. He’s literally been labelled as co-manager since aldo left 1 Quote

ryba Posted September 16, 2018 at 08:36 PM Posted September 16, 2018 at 08:36 PM (edited) I doubt that her tour manager has anything to do with the release of her albums. She needs an all rounder as manager, someone like Aldo. Maybe Aldo pushed her too hard and that’s why they stopped working together? What do you think? I think he did an amazing job though. He should come back. Edited September 16, 2018 at 08:38 PM by ryba 1 Quote

Angel2006 Posted September 16, 2018 at 09:05 PM Posted September 16, 2018 at 09:05 PM Manager and Co - Manager are two very different positions. Dave Platel is listed as Co - Manager. Wouldn't that still make Celine Manager, if he is only listed as a Co Manager? I think Dave is there to assist Celine in managing and that's why he's listed as Co - Manager. That's my understanding of it anyways. Quote

It's not that I can't grasp the concept of Dave Platel and Denis Savage being Celine's Co - Managers, but I just want to know whether Celine is technically her own head manager of her career or not? I just want to know this particular fact as a longtime Celine fan. I am not in denial in the least. I am just curious, because neither Dave or Denis are listed as Managers, but instead listed as Co - Managers. Does this mean Celine is Manager? I am sorry if this question appears to be coming across as in denial or annoying in any way, but I am only asking because when Rene was Celine's Manager, he was always listed as Manager and not Co - Manager. For the record, although Aldo was Céline's manager, he has said numerous times he considered himself a "co-manager", because in the end, it's Céline's career and he was just there to "help". So basically there are 3 managers atm: Céline, Dave and Denis. And other people of influence are Scott, John Doelp (music), John Meglen (touring/Vegas), Michel, Yves Aucoin and Pepe. 4 Quote »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» MATHIAS ««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzPrxI0AIDY

manu23 Posted September 17, 2018 at 11:24 AM Posted September 17, 2018 at 11:24 AM Call me crazy but I still think the album is coming in November. They can still release the single first week of October and the album one month later. The single won't have much longevity so the closer to the album the better. If there is nothing by October 5 or 12 then it means 2019. 3 Quote
