I don't understand you guys, since 2016 we have :

 

. 3 tours

. A french album

. A captation of a tour show

. A residency show who go on

 

and some of you accuse her to be lazy and wants always more and more...

 

Celine lost her husband 2 years ago, she was very brave to continue and his health is sometimes fragile. We should all remeber that. Some things can be better, yeah, for sure. But, for me all she gives to us is a bonus. I want her to be happy in her life, If she doesn't want to do interviews or take time for the English album, i'm ok with that. I'm very thankfull to be able to live emotionals tours, like I never do, because I was here enjoying the moment, feeling emotions, connected to her and the audience. So, for all this moments and the futurs moments, I wanna say THANK YOU CELINE.

 

I was about to write something like this days ago... but at the same time I just read that it took a year to record and release EUS, while they said they have been working on the new english album since then, and we stil have nothing... I'm not complaining not having the album yet, but the way they manage things like this.

 

People are saying: release the live 2016,2017 and 2018 as a special package or something like that, because the live in Tokyo seems not to be enough, and trust me even with a release like that, we will still complain, because we don't like the angles, we don't like the close ups, we don't like the sound...

 

But at the end we will run to buy anything they release... and they know it.

Mariah is releasing a single? Good for her, we got one in May. Madonna is releasing new songs? Good, we'll get Celine's album when it's ready.

Celine fans have a lot. She's done a summer tour for the past 3 years, released an album just 2 years ago, and does Vegas (even with a hurt back and ear problems), and still it's not enough. I think many here are quite spoiled and don't realize it.

It's normal to want new music from your fave artist but what many here do is demand, demand, and demand. I don't follow other singers or bands as closely as celine so I wonder, do other fans get as much (or more) material to enjoy from their favorite singer?

Those that are tired of waiting maybe should take a step back and put their attention elsewhere. It'll help make it feel like time is moving faster, next thing you know the album is here.

 

Coming to this forum to complain over and over again about all the things she isn't doing isn't going to do anything. Maybe going to twitter (in a polite manner) and stating these wishes to Celine will actually reach her and her team.

 

I also can't afford to go to any of her concerts but I still enjoy watching the videos uploaded to YouTube.

I don't care at all if she keeps doing Vegas and she's done 1,000 shows and she'll doo 5,000 more, the media cares when they say it's her first English album in 6 years (by 2013) and they ask what she has done all that time and it looks as if she had disappeared from Earth, and the story is being repeated again in 2018!!

 

I don't care if she's touring places where I can't go to the other side of the world, but I DO care if she releases a new album because that damn round thing is immediately available everywhere the next day, and for many hours of enjoyement to come (not a show that starts and finishes on a fixed time and bye bye, until the next show you attend!).

 

Tours are only available to those who have the show at their doorstep home.

Albums are available to every fan on Earth.

 

And it's not like generous Sony is giving fans a DVD so everyone is able to enjoy these tours right? They're keeping everything for themselves.

 

Most of all, the public doesn't care if she's performing one million shows in Vegas, or performs every year on mini tours, but DOES really care for sure if she takes 6 years to offer new music or not. It's not the same to wait 2-3 years for a new album than 6 years.

Comparaison, n'est pas raison comme dirait le proverbe. This comparison is absurd, because you can compare Celine and other singers but not with normal people and you have Céline in Quebec in 2016 with a wonderful show tribute of René with many of rare song. Learn to satisfy of what you have instead of blamming others and running after you don't have.

You said a few post that we have acept Celine career and choices but you don't. The Céline of the 90 until 2007 with an album for year is over. Accept that and deal with that even I can understand the frustation for english album.

It's been 6 years because she put her career on hold for her husband (a year after LMBTL), then she lost him. Even though we had a french album, oh and 4 summer tours since then.

sorry, but there is actually a difference between demand new stuff and demand things that are already recorded like her 3 tours that they simply won’t release for whatever reason. And everyone knows that they have them recorded. The fans are willing to pay for it because they were there and want to experience these concerts again and are willing to pay for that material. That is the big difference. Let Celine have her private time, perfectly fine, but release the recorded material. And again, it has nothing to do with Celine, she doesn’t even have to move a finger.
