browseceline Posted August 29, 2018 at 03:12 PM Posted August 29, 2018 at 03:12 PM (edited) here in the city where I live , in the Netherlands, the 28th of August is a festivity day and it is always closed with a big fireworks spectacle. So i decided not take my camera with me this year, because last year i filmed as well...and then suddenly the first notes of How Does a moment last forever - sound and then Celine sings! for this huge spectator crowd of 15.000 people. The song was shortened but how cool they used her song in the show! After her last sentence the music changed in trancemusic and more fireworks went into the sky.. woodstock Posted August 29, 2018 at 03:57 PM Posted August 29, 2018 at 03:57 PM Things get taken out all the time. Live a paris vhs and dvd i believe had different track listings. Rdmh removed from memphisTell him and immortality from acds Tcwt had im your angel removed. (This song was also removed from ATW cbs special). I suppose AND and USF are her only releases without a removed song. Both Live à Paris VHS & DVD shared the same tracklist, but River Deep, Mountain High was not part of them, although it featured on the CD version. And Tell Him & Immortality are not on any Au Coeur du Stade recording...because they were not part on the french shows 1 Quote
Jeanette Posted August 29, 2018 at 04:14 PM Posted August 29, 2018 at 04:14 PM According to the end credits, it's official: Dave Platel and Denis Savage are Celine Dion's co-managers. I imagine they just look after the business side of things but fairly sure she is the ‘boss’ and they’re just carrying out her orders. I’m more so of this now as Pepe, Kaven etc refer to her as the boss. I sometimes think that’s why things didn’t work out with Aldo although the official word was he wanted to spend more time with family. I’m not so sure on that one!! 1 Quote

maki_Dion-er Posted August 29, 2018 at 04:59 PM Posted August 29, 2018 at 04:59 PM i'm glad that her team continues posting regularly My favorite one, so relatable lol I'm also happy to see that it hasn't been total silence after the tour. In regards to the management stuff, wouldn't she still be considered the boss even if she had a manager because she hired the person and can also fire them? I'm sure she let Rene take the reins during their time together because he had overseen everything from the moment she met him and taken her so far but she had final say. So even if she has a manager now her team would still see her as the boss as well. 1 Quote

Of course she's the boss. Dave et al are her employees just like Aldo was. Quote

I was mistaken about immortality. I must've been assuming since she sang the bee gee medley she sang immortality also. Shame she didn't. I would have loved a 1998 tour English dvd of this. 1 Quote

It was very last minute before the Euro tour and the new guy had to learn everything within a few days. 1 Quote »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» MATHIAS ««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzPrxI0AIDY

This is René's heritage. He found the right people and treated them with respect and esteem, so they became nearly family members. And I guess it's important for Céline having such a longgrown tourfamily. Trust is in showbusiness worth like gold. Edited August 29, 2018 at 09:09 PM by drove all night 1 Quote

For me it definetly goes without say that she's the boss of everyone. 2 Quote

For me it definetly goes without say that she's the boss of everyone. I wasn’t implying she didn’t have a manager, there’s obviously someone carrying out the day to day negotiations etc. The fact these guys are named as co managers only confirms who these people are, it’s always been clear that these people are only manager in name only ie Celine makes the decisions and ok’s everything and these guys obviously just put her wishes into practice. Dotting the i’s and Crossing the t’s basically. That was all I meant and the fact these guys refer to her as ‘the boss’ confirms this. Quote
