Its extremely obvious which performance is better, not to mention in the 2008 one she was in the first few shows after around 2 months off. Where as 2018 she was at the end of a tour which was just after a vegas run too. Hmmmm

 

 

The 2018 one has ALOT more power, resonance and agility with zero effort on the runs and riffs. Where as 2008, the belts sound weak and muffled almosy

Because some members here already posted some highlights from 2008 as you can see and hear that she sounds fuller, can belt longer, flexible, stronger voice and more sustained/smoother than now that you keep on denying....... even when she’s sick back in 2008 she still sounds great compared to now. And again the pronunciation is better, etc.

 

So, you if you don’t agree. Fine. This is getting loooooooonger and some may get irritated for this looooooong debate

There's no debate if your attitude is like this. You're being entirely way too self-indulgent and righteous, as well as attacking other forum members. When others are simply commenting on what they hear or how they feel about Celine's vocal condition, you always respond with someway to insult or attack them. I don't mean to be rude but did you expect anything less? Sony Music is a company, the music industry is a business.

It doesn't mean that Celine is in it only for the money, and even if this was a marketing campaign it still allowed fans to meet Celine for free. And it gave Celine a neat momentum of her first tour in Asia.

 

Try to not look at things from only a negative perspective.

I think they might have chosen the word markets instead of countries as in the video states, because they don't want to get into the political debate of whether Taiwan is a country or a special district of China.

If i have offended anyone i apologise and will try and amend my actions, if its that bad i may aswell just stop posting but id rather stay active

 

Considering that people do feel this way about me then i apologise, i am who i am. Im 18, im immature. I haven’t experienced most of lifes issues yeah i get that. But theres so much more to me than an ignorant 18 year old, and even before i was full time active ( and comfortable enought to express how i truly felt) i was still hounded for my age. Yeah i always thought that. The end stage set up for theTC tour was SOOOOOO BASIC and bland and just horrible really. There were so many times she could have used the in the round stage and it would have been 10109374372847382874738 better.

 

Except maybe Dublin, considering the size of the venue etc, but I wholeheartedly agree.

 

IMO even the in the round looked low key tacky compared to LTALs stage of the year lol, the dancers and the screens saved it though.

 

But i dont know what it is the end stage now looks so chic, maybe its the Orchestra or the screens i dont know but they look so good

Due to the size of the stadiums the in-the-round stage wouldn't have worked, unless they had a bigger version of it (like the LTAL stage). The only stadium during that tour with an in-the-round stage was the Amsterdam ArenA, because its roof can be closed. And I've heard complaints from people sitting on the short sides that the stage was way too far and tiny. And it was also stupid they couldn't extend the catwalks as they only led halfway through the arena floor on the long sides.

 

But i dont know what it is the end stage now looks so chic, maybe its the Orchestra or the screens i dont know but they look so good

 

IMO the end stage was the best in 2016, followed by 2017, with this year being the most simple and "worst"..

 

One thing I don't understand is why don't they use the lighting from these tours and use it in LV stage,

 

Because The Colosseum is a vastly different venue with a different set-up. But you never know... they also added the "candles" after her 2016 tour and I believe they've been using new moving heads since last year. Though with the show most likely to end next year, I doubt they'll be doing any big chances the coming legs..

On the stage, the 2016 and 2017 stages were better, 2018 seems cheap and it's very simple, Céline needs a stage worthy of an international artist that she is.

On TC Tour I was disappointed with the first shows, the stage was very simple, cheap, to this day I did not understand why they used it.
