This is my prediction and a timeline.

Lead single: Sept. - Oct. 2018 (promo before Vegas return on Oct 30)

Second single: Feb. 2019

Vegas: February 26 - March 16, 2019

Third single: Early April 2019

Vegas: May 14 - June 1, 2019 (or June 8) *Residency ends*

Yes, of course JJG wrote the song (Celine is not a songwriter, like she often say), but she had the idea for the theme of the song/album and gave JJG some inspiration.

 

But Celine wrote a song for Marc Dupré « Entre deux mondes » For his album "Entre deux mondes" 2010 when she was pregnant with twins .

and She also with Marco Dupre CO-wrote a song "Come To Me" for the winner "La Voix III " Kevin Bazinet for his debut album in year "Talk To Me" 2015 .

Actually Céline called JJG with something very specific that she wanted about the song. She just doesn't say much about the decisions she makes herself. But René once said that Céline is the one who actually wears the pants...

As for Mariah, she has her own label so I'm prett sure she pays for her music videos. Columbia is the distributor for her music.

In Céline's case, Sony pays for her music videos (when there's one)....

Easy fix: release the damn tours / documentary and tell us about the recording process. That’s it. Simple.

She was always holding back and didn’t want to do too much but Rene used to push her. So did Aldo. But now that she is her own manager, there is nobody there to push her. Seems like her co managers are only two yes-sayers and that’s the problem. There is no input.

 

All I can say is thank god for Rene all those years he was at the helm. It’s becoming more and more obvious without Rene, Celine would’ve just been a great voice without the hunger for doing the business. Miss him there.

 

I don’t get way Sony Music isn’t pressuring Céline to get a worthy manager.

No offence to you Brendam of you personally of course. But many fans forget the francophone career of Céline. It we would fair she closed this intense leg of her career at home in Québec, for the symbolism.

I will be vacationing in London and Italy the second half of next June so if Celine would like to coordinate dates with my already booked travel plans it would be greatly appreciated.

it is such a pity that a voice like hers does not record many songs just for the fun of it to keep them for later. i still wish whitney had recorded many songs during her peak. voices like that need to be immortalized in as many songs as possible.

To be totally honest I think the reality is what Celine has accomplished in Vegas highly outshines and English recordings we would’ve received had she not ever started a residency.

 

The 90s were dedicated to busting her butt and creating the soaring classics.

 

Rene and Celine changed the game in Vegas. That is a tremendous accomplishment!!! Huge acts are now trying to follow in our Queen’s footsteps!

 

It’s similar to someone like Whitney Houston or Barbra Streisand — for the mass public, not really about new music — it’s about seeing them perform live. And folks just wanna hear the classics.

 

While I wish we had more English songs since A new day has come.... I’m still in awe of her career as a whole.

 

With that said, I know that Celine has the ability to pu p out some fabulous new music. Ashes was a treasure. And I think she might just add another classic or two to her repertoire in the years to come.

Moccio’s now the mentor, like Foster once was, the two becoming good friends since that first phone call back in second year. His relationship with Dion has evolved as well. They were recently back in the studio together, working on tracks for her upcoming album, due out in 2019.

 

“I feel what I’ve written for her is ‘classic Celine.’ She’s not trying to conform or be 18 years old again. She’s just singing beautiful songs and beautiful melodies” – two things he’s kept as his focus throughout his career.

 

“I remember when I was first starting out, and with Celine Dion, I took big risks to record the demo just to get it to her. I took out major loans, bought beautiful, incredible microphones I still have 20 years later. Here I was in my 20s, spending tens of thousands of dollars on a computer, compressor and all that gear, but it had to be done,” he said.

I think they will release the album when the Vegas show ends. So she has time for promo and maybe a mini-tour.

Oh I will understand, and she has my blessing if so.

 

But on the other side she gives us a lot of mixed messages about what she wants to sing, how she feels about her music etc.

 

So it's a bit mixed.

Why is it so difficult to understand that she might not have the same drive she once had?

She's into her family at this point in her life, probably even more so after loosing René.

The drive will probably come back once the twins are a little older. I know many 50 year olds who are bored to death after doing the same job for 25 years. I'm sure that can also happen to artists and to all of us. She will come around when she's ready.

So... Celine has an English mentor and the album will be released in 2019!

English album was already overdue for 2018 and a french album for 2019 since its gonna be 3 years for Encore un soir.

 

Ok they want to postponed it : fine but why the hell Sony is not releasing something new NOW just before christmas for the fans that are waiting for so long.. something like a bluray of the last 3 tours? Or at least the 2016 tour since it was in french and the 2018 tour for the english speakers?

 

Why Sony is not able to think Mmm ok there is no new album for the french fans since 2016, no new album for the english fans since 2013 and no new dvd since 2013.. ok let's release something!

I appreciate that they let us know. I for one think the album will be well developed. She’s taking her time, not just recording songs for the sake of recording songs. She’s putting effort and energy behind them.

 

I’m okay with waiting. She’s 50 years old and has only had a few years off here and there. Besides then, she’s been going full steam ahead. Let her take her time on her projects. This is her first English album sans Rene, and I’m all here for it, no matter how long it takes.

Not much to do really. But respect the decision, and wait for the album. We all know we'll be the first ones to get whenever it is released i like the idea of "classic Celine" mentioned before. That will be worth the wait for sure.
