LOL, well it's true.

I've just learned to take it all with a grain of salt.

File under "I'm gonna act" or "I'm gonna sing in Spanish", etc.

 

I mean, I understand the frustration. This year has been a little more unusual though being that Celine was out of commission for a good part of the beginning of the year. We were getting some rather frequent updates of her in studio and then it literally came to a screeching halt. I am going to say that it was because of her ear condition. It’s plausible and a very valid reason to delay her work on recording. I don’t think this time it’s her team not taking action or Sony “not caring.”

Yes, Celine added them today to all her networks (Facebook , Instagram & Twitter )

but the album is likely to be released in 2019 ..... Who knows

Not a huge fan of bangs on her but she looks awesome, and her hair is a shade darker. New look for the win.

 

I hope we do get a teaser of the album this year and that she performs at next years award shows before the release of the album.

Well if the story with the new songs is true, here is a suggestion:

 

- release what you have so far right now

 

- record the new songs you like and re-release the album in a few months with the new tracks plus all the singles that were released since 2016 on an extra disc

So many people claim to “love” Céline yet I have no idea how none of them make a duet happen. There’s no way Céline is turning evey single one of her contemporaries down. Even we know since Neyo confirmed it that he just wrote “Incredible” for Céline and it was never considered to be a duet until Céline requested it be.

 

Anyways, i would love to see an Ed Sheeran collab.

Remember Aldo said that towards the last few months as manager he was working hard to get sia and hopefully Sam on the album... we all know now Sia has three tracks so imagine now that Sam is back and state side that the timing for both of them is right despite being in different cities.

We also got another bunch of pictures last December and here we are, one year later almost and no clue about a release date...

 

Those pictures could be old, and they could just be posting them to show some signs of life.

 

I said years ago that her people lurk on here as do Sony from time to time.

But a picture on her Social Media doesn’t have to mean anything is being released imminently or promoting anything. It’s a picture of her recording a new song. For an album that will come out God knows when. Everything doesn’t have to have bullet points of information with it - we complain when they don’t post anything and then when they do it’s why bother? or more or less same pic as last year etc etc.

This forum is too funny. People complained we had no news, nothing about the album, etc.

Now Céline gives us a sign (with beautiful pics may I add), yet some people think it's a conspiracy and that the pics *may* be old.

Ok, and what if the pics were old? The fact that it's posted now is what's important.

Poor Céline, she can't please some people - EVER. If she stops posting completely, don't be surprised!!

The fact that they posted photos of her working on the new English album at all — whether they’re old photos or from today — is a great sign! And it’s clear that they hear us (to some extent).

 

Her team understands that we are eagerly anticipating this new record — along with information regarding Vegas and an impending tour.

 

I just hope they truly focus and get it right! I would love for this album to be her best, most Celine-sounding English album since A New Day Has Come. Bring back David Foster for a few songs! Make it heartfelt and beautiful and right for this moment in her life. Fingers crossed for a big duet! That’s the most epic way to make a big comeback.

 

In a dream world, they are also filming a documentary (for Netflix?) to document this exciting time in her life — coming off another successful international summer tour, wrapping up this current Vegas residency, recording her first English album without Rene by her side, hopefully planning a new tour in support of the album— and soldiering onward as a woman in her 50s calling all the shots and reinventing herself as a fashion icon while upholding her legendary music career.

 

Cher and Madonna and Barbra have had big, sparkly moments post-50 and Celine will too!
