It would be a nice album to listen to, there are so many gems under the Eddy Marnay years and most of them are still unknown to the general public I've been dreaming about this for years!! The pics didn’t reflect Celine as she really is and it sort of didn’t look right, especially those with that mask and animals (that’s a forced lady gaga) or that bunny thing (although sexy and cook, it just doesn’t seem right when you know who she is and what values she stands for). From C'est pour toi (1985), Eddy already stated that he wrote those lyrics as the last trace of Céline as a child who was now becoming a young woman, and on Incognito is obvious the lyrics are already thought of a fully-grown woman (Délivre-moi, Comme un coeur froid, Lolita -though this one is from Luc Plamondon). In any case, I saw Céline doing a sweet acoustic medley in the ACDS concert in 1999, with excellent results. I don't see why she couldn't sing most of those songs today. Can't a woman in their 50s meet someone and hesitate whether it's about a friendship or a new love? I know some friends of my mother who have lived that many years later after a broken relationship, or being widow after losing their husband and they start dating someone else In fact the story of D'amour ou d'amitié could actually happen very rightly to Céline now... And she was 63 at the time... Eddy wrote some marvellous songs, and it's a shame they are forgotten by her, in concert anyway. This is one of MANY albums Celine could be releasing these days. I think easy big-sellers for Celine would be: A new Holiday album with a couple duets. One of the duets could be the first single to generate buzzzz. Celine is like Whitney & Barbra... it’s about the voice. So I think she could — in addition to her own new material — cover classic songs by artists like Ella Fitzgerald / Frank Sinatra and it’d be spectacular!
