We know for sure the album will launch at some point in 2019 with the Vegas show now officially ending.

 

I think they will bundle the album with the launch of a new North American tour, (each ticket would include a copy of her new album), which leads to think the album will not be released until at least March when tickets would go on sale for a North American tour.

 

This strategy works amazingly well and she would sell a TON of new albums. Easily #1 because I guarantee you if she toured America she'd easily sell well north of 100K in tickets. Maybe 200K

 

 

Well yeah, and I see her also doing Canada at the same time. We all know she can easily do 5-6 shows sold out in Montreal.

 

Id say shed do :

 

2 San Diego, 2 LA, 2 Sacramento, 2 Las Vegas, 1 in Pheoniz, 1 In Tucson, 1 in SLC, 1 in Denver, 2 in Austin, 1 In Houston, 1 in Dallas, 1 in Tulsa, 1 in new Orleans, 1 in Montgomery, 1 in Miami, 1 In Orlando, 1 in Tampa, 1 in Atlanta, 1 in Columbus, 1 in Memphis, 1 in Richmond, 1 in Pittsburgh, 1 in Washington DC, 2 in NYC, 2 in Boston and 2 In Philadelphia.

 

 

 

Tbh we could never call a US tour a mini tour cause my list is a summary and it’s still 34 dates smh

Oh she would have to do more this this. I don't see Chicago (a big market), Nashville, Detroit, St Louis/Louisville, and Seattle (another big market). Scratch Montgomery and Richmond. They are not big enough markets, but I could see Raleigh in there instead. ;)

Yes I saw her in Raleigh! The place was packed and the people loved her!

Oop forgot about Chicago and Nashville. BUt i dont know about Seattle where as Richmond....

 

 

 

Tbh it wouldnt surprise me if she did the exact same order as the TCWT North American leg but i dont know if she could handle 73 dates at that pace

From your list, she would not perform in the Northwest corner of the US, which is where Seattle is located. As for Richmond, it's in Virginia. About an hour drive from Washington, DC.

I still think they will market the album for Valentine's Day. I bet on Feb. 8th.

If Ashes is nominated for an Academy Awards, it might be a good idea to release the new album the same week: she would benefit from the free publicity of her performing the song at the largely viewed ceremony broadcasted worldwide. ^_^

 

Just like Celine Dion album 16 (17 then) years ago :wub:

Well, they're changing the format of the Oscar ceremony next year, so there may not be an opportunity to perform, even if it gets nominated.

When she came out I was starstruck!!! I really was. My dad isn't a celine fan in the slightest and even he enjoyed the show!

 

Haha I remember I screamed my head off once I first saw her, then I had my eyes big the whole time trying to soak it all up! It's one of THE best shows I've been to!! Loved the stage and dancers. :wub:

I am hoping so much for a us tour after Vegas ends next year. It could be much like when TC was released then Vegas ended the next month and tour shortly after. I'm hoping this will be big and spectacular. Actually exciting imagining the possibilities even if it's premature!

I agree - but you never know. Ratings have nosedived so they might try to experiment...

If they remove the song performances from the Oscar ceremony, the ratings will nosedive some more because I won't be watching! :-D

My guesses (and hopes):

- Album (and possible tour) announcement between January 20 - February 26 (with possible Grammy & Oscar performances)

- Album release & promo between March 16 - May 14 (and a BBMA performance on May 19)

- Possible tour starting late June/early July

It is a nice ballad being played during the start titles of a superhero movie that is like a parody of the James Bond films. Nothing more, nothing less.

It will depend on the competition... but maybe the end of the residency will help her get a nomination ("Let's get her before she retires" :giggle:).

Stephan Moccio told me Celines new album is exquisite and that were gonna be blown away with how amazing it is im so excited. I hope she releases a single before the end of the year or at the beginning of next year. That would be amazing
