I’m glad that they are working with these people again! I only hope that these new songs will be as awesome as the ones they produced before.

 

However, I’m skeptical when it comes to Eg White and Linda Perry, because didn’t really like their songs on TC and LMBTL

Caesars gets paid a small percentage, her bad and orchestra and all the people behind the scenes also make a set salary. So all the extra money made compared to a regular show most likely would be going solely to Céline. It would be very possible for Céline to say “let’s not charge any more than a normal show” and it would happen. So let’s not make Céline seem innocent in all this, she’s actually smarter than many give her credit for because she knows the way that they marketing them shows would make demand go up, therefore prices do as well.

she is paid and Ceasars sells the tickets, they decide the price. You want her to go on strike? She has a contract , she must respect it. Celine is not innocent but we live in a capitalist world. In the end, it is good thing that Vegas goes to an end. Evrything is more expensive over there. And with Lady gaga being paid apparently 1 million a show, it won't be better in the future. Maybe Celine asked to be paid as much as Gaga and decided to end this when they said no. Or she is seeing what happens now with the price and decided that it was enough. In my knowledge, usually the artist get set salary for a show. The promoter decided the prices, the more greedy promoter, the more expensive ticket is. And the artist even though they probably know, they has nothing to say.

Unless the artist refuse to perform, the promoter will make the price they want. But I don't think it's that easy to refuse, there's a contract and law for everything.

Thank God there are still discerning minds around here. Nobody spread any rumours; fans are clever enough to know that Celine Dion is a product here and SHE is the name selling the product before all, so she should be aware of what a ticket to see her perform costs. Ticket prices doesn't inflate out of the blue overnight, and demand is not a reason, because prices should always be announced and FIXED way before the sale. Here we're seeing prices fluctuate as if this was stock market, this is completely absurd.

 

And if the tickets were to be skyrocketing for whatever reason, she wouldn't be the first singer to haver her say and have words with the concert promoter refusing to ask her fans exorbitant prices. But of course, this requires a certain grade of involvement and concern from the artist's side, something which is inexistent here as usually...

 

Like I said, the performing career went way up to their heads long ago...

Well i guess they released the song during a vegas run and then they went straight into the tour and then obviously the break before her return to vegas and the 1000th show.... so she was super busy

If walls could talk is like "let's be mariah carey and be lascivious on every room" -hey, what about doing it again singing about a mother's love for her child in Goodbye's?

After all, they only did it in Where does me heart beat now, the power of love, think twice, if you ask me to... Maybe that's why there's 753 Celines in Et s'il n'en restait qu'une?

 

Taking Chances was a nice try... but it doesn't make any sense at all!

Falling into you is great, different from her other takes, nicely filmed.

Did you give enough love is the only one that feels like a REAL music video.

 

French music videos imo are often way better, since they're consistent with the song: PQTME, Je sais pas, On ne change pas, Je ne vous oublie pas...

Even Parler à mon père & Immensité are in sync with the idea of the song.

The EUS lyrics video fits the theme too. I love it.
