With all due respect ... I'm happy he's gone! He didn't either have style, nor respect (I remember dragging Céline away from media, in front of cameras!!!), if he was interviewed the answers sounded like they were given by an amateur. He was always dressed way to casual, which IMO shouldn't happen if you manage a woman who is always dressed stylish and fashionable. And mostly his management decisions weren't all the best.

 

Maybe he only accepted his job because of his friendship to René. Maybe there were loosely plans of René (until he got too sick) which he tried to fulfill - but unfortunately in a way not appropriate for a megastar like Céline.

 

I truely would like to know who is really managing her at the moment? Still Patel and Savage or where those two only the managers for the tour? Mainly if an artist has got such vague plans it's most important to have a working management! Otherwise her carreer will truely take damage!

Well, I don't presume to know what Céline needed at that time or which vision she's got. Nor do I know which were Aldo's decisions, René's or even Céline's in the past. But even without knowing I can imagine she isn't a dumb fool who only needs a man telling her all the things she has to do! And surely I didn't say everything was bad, what Aldo did! After all I only know, what I saw and heard. I'm sure there was way more than you and I will ever get to know!

 

But as I wrote - and with that I share your opinion - that a good and visible management is really a "must"! Someone who coordinates HER whishes, cause - it is as it is - she has nothing to proof anymore!

 

May I ask you why you know that these two are the co-managers in general? Maybe I write them .... haha, just kidding! They truely aren't waiting for a letter from me!

Just because the delayed of the album, it doesn't mean she has no direction or have no plan. Some fans act like we never heard anything from celine for years. She just finished the tour, announced the end of LV, she keep updating about new album, although there's no exact release date. She didn't disappear, she still there doing things. Take a seat, enjoy the show.

Everything is planned, the release of the album for 2019 was planned with the end of the shows in Vegas, they should release it near the final dates, I think that if it continued in Vegas the plan would be different and the album would be released this year still.

 

Somebody put here in the forum that if it did not continue in Vegas the DVD would be released, who still has the mensgaem print could post again.

I don't know how you can juge on Aldo's work... He was there for such a short time. Since he left for me, she just continued more or less the same things... After Aldo left, she was everywhere with Vogue last summer, made one of her best vocal tour ever, and then she got sick and canceled, slow down all her activities for a while, fact. Now, she is just back to work after a successfull Tour again, we just had ashes before, so a new single, and her social media has never been that active even during Aldo's days. And we know she is finishing her english album right now.

 

During Aldo's day, we got the most awfull production of all her carrer : Show must go on, and a forgetable song: Recovering. Great. But she made a bunch of TV appearance, ok.

 

People here are just freaking out for nothing. I don't know how you would deal with modern artists (and their amazing manager) such as Rihanna doing lipstick and lingerie since 3 years or Madonna doing anti aging cream since.....a long time ago.

 

The girl had to learn how to work by herself, rebuild her own image, her own sound... In a creation process of a studio album, that takes time and energy. And she is still working on it. She certainly got way more material and styles than before. It is a crazy process now for her to build something coherent in this new context. And she is working on that.

 

Whatever you may think, those are her decisions, and so this has never been that exciting to be a Celine fan right know. We will finally witness who the true Celine is.

 

For now, I repeat myself sorry.... But by seeing all those people here crying, I'm just wandering where were those same people from 2003 to 2016 when Celine just stopped having any interest in singing live anymore with also very few studio recording ? She is finally singing again, for the rest, she's still working on her english album. Chill !!

You can count the numbers of course. They are always impressive when it concerns Céline. But then ?

For me during all this period she totally lost it. Can you name one memorable live, Tour or TV? Some of them were good at the best that's all. Sometimes, during the TCWT, she was good, even here and there quite impressive vocally ok. That's it, at best.

 

But Céline has an animal energy, something very rare a la Freddie Mercury. Whatching her is like whatching the Olympics. And I'm sorry but for me during all those years she was on a robotic mode, never taking any risk live anymore. Her eyes were bored, she was singing less and less live etc...

I'm sorry but just before René died, the Céline we know came back. For me, she started singing/interpreting again from 2016. In her eyes, in the notes she is searching now, in the vocal risk she's taking, in the songs she started back to sing live, those eyes and animal energy we witness again live since almost 3 years..... We got her back in 2016, after 13 years of boredom.

 

That's just what I feel since 2016, it's day and night for me in term of interpretation, vocals, energy, and her new approach of her old repertoire as well as live Vs playback.

Like I wrote up here many many times .... it's never enough what she is doing ... for so many up here. Never enough. But these are all FANS! Shouldn't it be the other way around, more words of appreciation instead of critisism?

I don't share your opinion that she acted more like a roboter! But even though she might have not been in top shape one day or another ... oh ... for heavens sake ... she's human like we all are human. Thank God! Flesh and blood. We see only the surface, without knowing about the struggels, tiredness, whatever.

 

She will never satisfy regarding to some unhuman high standards some people up here think she should fulfill every day of her life. Instead of being happy seeing her, or getting a new album of her, always the search for the weed instead of worshipping the flowers. How sad!

Due to my sick mother and taking care of her during that time it completly drifted by. Well, seems like I've missed not that much! And in that case I am happy my French isn't that well enough.
