celinesounds Posted September 21, 2018 at 04:50 PM Author Posted September 21, 2018 at 04:50 PM let's wait for quality not quantity usually her English album has more than 15 tracks, and the french around 12 if we get only 10 its ok, but not recycling material 1 Quote #FREEJAVITO
pat200 Posted September 21, 2018 at 04:57 PM Posted September 21, 2018 at 04:57 PM people are waiting for something new from her. they have been embracing her again and will welcome her new music i think well. hopefully they pick up the pace and release something already before we get an album that would have sounded fresh in 2016-2017 but sounds outdated already because they waited so long! zuv Posted September 21, 2018 at 05:54 PM Posted September 21, 2018 at 05:54 PM Well, one person's great track is another person's bland one. Plenty on here love A vous. I happen to think it's a monstrosity.I also happen to think A la plus haute branche is the best track on EUS. Many here think it "boring". Loll A Vous is catchy af!! Love it! 1 Quote
Shamrock_1982 Posted September 21, 2018 at 06:35 PM Posted September 21, 2018 at 06:35 PM (edited) A vous has to be up loud to be truely appreciated. And the very start of IDAN up loud as your plane shoots down the runway is amazing lol.I used to hate flying and so listened to that song during take off... I now love flying and still do it as there’s something cool about the rumbling of the jets and the guitars in the song together. Just try it next time your off somewhere and you can thank me later Edited September 21, 2018 at 06:36 PM by Shamrock_1982 3 Quote

Brandon Posted September 21, 2018 at 07:42 PM Posted September 21, 2018 at 07:42 PM Even if you are not happy about their decisions, is it really necessary to call her team or Sony "stupid" and "ignorant"? Seriously? This is only about an album. There are worse problems in this world. Chill.Of course there are worse problems in the world. But this forum is not about discussing the world's dire problems is it. That's neither the focus or intent of a fan forum. So you chill. 2 Quote https://media.giphy....zviuO/giphy.gif

Correct, we are not here to discuss the world's problems, but there's no place to call her team or Sony stupid and/or ignorant - even if you don't agree with their decisions. Not cool. So chill... and be cool. 1 Quote
Critiaslux Posted September 22, 2018 at 06:08 AM Posted September 22, 2018 at 06:08 AM https://www.idolator.com/7685913/celine-dion-new-album-2018-studio-pic?andro=1&chrome=1 A New Day Has Come! Celine Dion Is Back In The Studio Vocal goddess Celine Dion is back in the recording booth. The most stylish woman in pop shared a couple of pics from the studio and revealed that she’s working on “great new tunes!” With any luck, this is a sign that the Canadian superstar’s 12th English LP will arrive sooner rather than later. After all, the 50-year-old has been chipping away at the followup to 2013’s Loved Me Back To Life since at least 2016 when “Recovering,” a powerful ballad penned by Pink, was released. Since then, Celine has kept busy with a mega-selling French LP, Encore Un Soir, and a couple of stand-alone singles including “How Does A Moment Last Forever” from the Beauty And The Beast soundtrack and “Ashes” from Deadpool 2. If we were living in an era not dominated by streaming, the latter would have been a smash hit. It charted highly on iTunes around the globe and even topped the US dance charts courtesy of a remix by Steve Aoki. If there’s any justice, it will nab an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. See the hitmaker’s latest update below. 6 Quote

MalaysiaCeline Posted September 22, 2018 at 07:51 AM Posted September 22, 2018 at 07:51 AM off topic.....I really love the latest album released by Josh Groban's Bridges. he didn't deviate from his routine but fresh in some way. I always think no one will top Leona Lewis's Run version beside the original snow patrol version but Josh and Sarah made it to a whole new level ...now I love this version over Leona. his duet with Andrea Bocelli is a surprise to me as well....but Josh's version on our Celine french signature - SSDM is no way near Celine (our Celine still the best) speaking about that I dont seems to recall any artist out do our Celine when covering her song ?? I just wish Celine new album is as close as Josh new album ....no need to blow the music industry away ...but great enough for those who love Celine's music especially true fan like all of us that love her music for more 2 decades or maybe more. Kev x You mean for her last English album or French one?maybe around 2013 Celine had gone "out of style" for mainstream media and audiences but now clearly has made a comeback (beginning with making herself a fashion icon), it happens. It's why sometimes it's good to make people miss you. I don't think that was her intention but it worked nonetheless. Hopefully, when the new songs and album comes out it'll have a large success. I'm glad to see lots of excitement for her from media and general fans. Edited September 22, 2018 at 08:32 AM by maki_Dion-er 1 Quote

drove all night Posted September 22, 2018 at 05:26 PM Posted September 22, 2018 at 05:26 PM I really ask myself if those of you who are "yelling" most loudly for new songs really KNOW ALL her early songs? If not ... would be the perfect to bridge the time til the new album's released. There are quite some gems to be discovered - and quite meaningful too, as Eddy Marnay's lyrics are all base on Célines feelings! And thanks to good souls, translations of the french lyrics can be found. P.S.: All of these songs can be found on YouTube! For example here's one of my early favorites: https://youtu.be/JwXh4g9i6yA Tu es là(Paul Baillargeon / Eddy Marnay) Tu es là devant moiEt tu me regardes le coeur en croixEt je suis là immobileEt je te regarde le coeur fragile Voilà, il y a deux jours à peineQue je t'ai rencontréMes rêves se déchaînentEt j'ai peur de t'aimer Je me jette vers toiMais je veux m'arrêterEt si je crie de joieJe ne sais plus parler Tu es là devant moiEt tu me caresses du bout des doigtsEt tout commence aujourd'huiEt la vie nous laisse devant la vie Plus rien ne peut nous arrêterL'amour est devant nousEt pour lui résisterIl faudrait être fous J'ai envie de pleurerJe n'y arrive pasOui le monde a changéDepuis que tu es là Tu es làTu es làEt j'ai le coeur qui bat Translation (Thanks to CelineDionWeb.com) You are here before me And you look at me the heart crossedAnd here I am still And I look at you the fragile heart Well, it's been just two days agoThat I've met youMy dreams are unleashed And I'm afraid to love you I jump at you But I want to stop And if I shout for joy I can't talk anymore You are before me And you caress me with your fingertips And all starts today And life leaves us before life Nothing can stop us anymoreLove is before us And to resist itOne must be crazy I want to cry But I can'tYes, the world has changed Since you are here You are hereYou are here And my heart is beating 7 Quote
Javito Posted September 22, 2018 at 07:07 PM Posted September 22, 2018 at 07:07 PM If she had to do a covers album for another tribute, I’d love her to do an Eddy Marnay album revisiting her own old songs with her mature voice. It would be a nice album to listen to, there are so many gems under the Eddy Marnay years and most of them are still unknown to the general public 5 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

ryba Posted September 22, 2018 at 07:56 PM Posted September 22, 2018 at 07:56 PM (edited) You know, I wonder about WAAF because there was a time when everything Adele touched turned into gold, but not that song with Daniel Merriwether. It went completely unnoticed, and Celine covered it. I wonder why she chose a fail song from Adele. What are your opinions? (And I don’t believe that it was only because she liked it) Edited September 22, 2018 at 07:59 PM by ryba 1 Quote

I think it would be wonderful if she would revisit some of her most famous or less knows songs but redo them all these years later with all new arrangements. 2 Quote Instagram: @delphis78
