usually her English album has more than 15 tracks, and the french around 12

 

if we get only 10 its ok, but not recycling material

people are waiting for something new from her. they have been embracing her again and will welcome her new music i think well. hopefully they pick up the pace and release something already before we get an album that would have sounded fresh in 2016-2017 but sounds outdated already because they waited so long!

Plenty on here love A vous. I happen to think it's a monstrosity.

I also happen to think A la plus haute branche is the best track on EUS. Many here think it "boring".

And the very start of IDAN up loud as your plane shoots down the runway is amazing lol.

I used to hate flying and so listened to that song during take off... I now love flying and still do it as there’s something cool about the rumbling of the jets and the guitars in the song together. Just try it next time your off somewhere and you can thank me later

On the contrary I always listen to "You and I are meant to Fly" as my plane prepares for take off. Try it some time.

off topic.....I really love the latest album released by Josh Groban's Bridges.

 

he didn't deviate from his routine but fresh in some way. I always think no one will top Leona Lewis's Run version beside the original snow patrol version but Josh and Sarah made it to a whole new level ...now I love this version over Leona.

 

his duet with Andrea Bocelli is a surprise to me as well....but Josh's version on our Celine french signature - SSDM is no way near Celine (our Celine still the best)

 

speaking about that I dont seems to recall any artist out do our Celine when covering her song ??

 

I just wish Celine new album is as close as Josh new album ....no need to blow the music industry away ...but great enough for those who love Celine's music especially true fan like all of us that love her music for more 2 decades or maybe more.

You mean for her last English album or French one?

maybe around 2013 Celine had gone "out of style" for mainstream media and audiences but now clearly has made a comeback (beginning with making herself a fashion icon), it happens. It's why sometimes it's good to make people miss you. I don't think that was her intention but it worked nonetheless.

 

Hopefully, when the new songs and album comes out it'll have a large success. I'm glad to see lots of excitement for her from media and general fans.

I really ask myself if those of you who are "yelling" most loudly for new songs really KNOW ALL her early songs? If not ... would be the perfect to bridge the time til the new album's released. There are quite some gems to be discovered - and quite meaningful too, as Eddy Marnay's lyrics are all base on Célines feelings! And thanks to good souls, translations of the french lyrics can be found. P.S.: All of these songs can be found on YouTube!

If she had to do a covers album for another tribute, I’d love her to do an Eddy Marnay album revisiting her own old songs with her mature voice. It would be a nice album to listen to, there are so many gems under the Eddy Marnay years and most of them are still unknown to the general public

You know, I wonder about WAAF because there was a time when everything Adele touched turned into gold, but not that song with Daniel Merriwether. It went completely unnoticed, and Celine covered it. I know on La Voix, Quebec version, some of the coaches have had their contestants sing early Celine songs but with new arrangements. I think it would be wonderful if she would revisit some of her most famous or less knows songs but redo them all these years later with all new arrangements.
