2011 she sang a lot more difficult songs than she did in 2002 in which she sang not as much in higher tones.

 

Its easy to think because of that reason that she was in better shape...i wouldn't necessarily think that to be the case. I wish she would have sang some more kickass songs for a comeback in 2002. Imagine if she had a concert similar to millennium concert in 2002 and sang 25 songs from various albums leading up. It would have slayed 2011 to pieces...but she didnt and thus 2002 was a little boring vocally.

No. Because she's excited at the prospect of touring and the completely different audience that welcomes her while on tour. An audience that sings with her, screams her name and is alive.

 

Have you even listened to her speech before 'Can't Help Falling In Love'? If so, you would clearly see and hear that while she loves touring, it's exhausting for her.

 

So of course it excites her.... I'm excited too when I go out on Saturday night. But do I want to do that every day? No.

 

Just like Céline doesn't want to do a lenghty tour (anymore). She's older, she has 3 kids, she has stability and that far outweighs her career or "an audience that screams her name" (her twins do that too).

 

When will you start be realistic, open your eyes and accept the fact that she also LOVES [being/living/performing in] Vegas. And if that is what she loves, let. her. be.

The last time Loved Me Back To Life album charted in those 3 countries were mediocre

If the new album comes out, people will still be able to relate to her as she had just did concerts in those countries

The major problem of LMBTL album was the lack of promotion. Let's not forget that the album was released when René got sick again.

IMO it's not a great album but contains some great songs. It was a big flot in the US but a best-seller in some European countries.

With promotion and music videos this album could easily sell 3 to 5 million copies worldwide. Time to move on...

That's what you say, but if you lived closely the album promo days, the LMBTL album had enough and very decent promo, especially on the US; she went to all the main TV shows. And Europe got decent promotion too. But the album per se wasn't good enough, the selection of songs was poor right from the start and it wasn't clearly up to her precedent English albums.

The 'concept' of LMBTL was the worst ever! Cover from Vegas really? That could have work for a EP and if there was a EP with those songs it would have been better to release them live from Vegas lol

Exactly! Half the album looks like an EP from Vegas, but clashes uprightly with the rest of the songs

 

The same happened to me. One half of the LMBTL album is "okay", but looks like pieces taken from different puzzles and forced to fit. And the other half of the album is... no coments. To say that their absurd obsession with Vegas and recording in the studio every cover she performs there brought as a result her worst English album, that would be an understatement And like you say... after the first listen to the album, one could already notice something was wrong in the conception of it. It sounds straightaway as if you're listening to TWO different albums. Even before its release, the album was jinxed with its undefined concept, and all the turnarounds. And even René and Céline looked totally clueless when trying to explain what was the "Water and a flame" title

 

Hope it doesn't happen again, and what she sings live years ago doesn't have to mess with what she does in the studio for a completely different project.

LMBTL is like OH part 2 but in OH album her voice sounds more natural and her voice blends with the music unlike LMBTL album where we can hear so much autotune, dry and forward vocals

To be honest i expect radiosilence until going back to Vegas. Her twitter account will probably count the days for her new shows ( Celine will be back in Vegas..10 days to go, 9days to go etc)

In the meantime she will spend a well deserved holiday i think, yes maybe also do some album recordings later on? I do not expect album promotion in the upcoming weeks at all.
