I wanted to stop already after the joke that is the intro of "Walk alone". "There's a time to cry, there's a time to laugh"....hahaha very deep indeed!

 

I really don't get those ppl who bash a meaningful song and then enjout cheesy pop songs. That's beyond my understanding.

 

Because Celine lacks precisely those “cheesy pop songs” in her shows and her repertoire (and has too many deep/sad/tearjerker songs)???

Of course you can feel her emotions. She's thinking about Rene when she sings it. Pink is just an opportunist who used Celine as a vehicle by giving her this B rate sing which lyrics don't even apply to Celine.

Little by little day by day she IS recovering and is healing as a woman, mother and singer and is little by little coming to terms with the death of Rene and she will never truly be whole again and this songs lyrics cement this and 100% apply to Celine

 

 

Its really depressing to see that you cant even connect with some of the most emotional, powerful and tender lyrics in Celines entire English discography. You clearly have never felt that feeling of true loss and pain otherwise you wouldn’t be here degrading people for their enjoyment of truly touching lyrics.

 

 

And yes, he did jump to conclusions. I said Celine always cried during this song and then he said “so this is the only song she ever cries in” and posted a video of Alone. Which is completely jumping the gun and missing the point

 

 

 

And you think these Recovering lyrics are so great? Are you serious? They are dry, cliche and trite. Oh but because it's Pink we are supposed to care? Who is Pink to Celine anyway. No one, that's who. Celine is just so flattered that a "young" artist would think of her, And that's what it comes down to. But I see Pink as an opportunist. And she certainly got her money's worth by Celine mentioning her name on stage every single night and blowing her up to something that she is not.

 

 

This is just plain horrible. Pink wrote a beautiful song and sent it to Celine in her time of need and that’s probably the most special thing an artist can recieve during such a difficult time.

 

And no its not because its Pink, Selena Gomez could have written this song and it would still be the same. The meaning, sentiment and heartfelt genuine caring is what matters here.

 

Celine was flattered because she was sent such a beautiful song from an extremely talented artist whom she respected and took time to send a song that Celine would appreciate and could use in her time of grief as a salute to Rene.

 

 

And you really think Pink is an opportunist ?? If thats your outlook on such a situation then you really must have a horrible world view.

 

And not being fine, but Pink was cemented and became iconic way before she sent Recovering to Celine. Pinks doing just fine sweetie

I do like Recovering, and the first tour where she performed it. I don't like when she squeezes the life out of a song and recycles it tour after tour after tour as if she hadn't more songs to sing. The difference of this point is clear enough

I quite liked it hearing it live last year. Gave the completly new light to the song. If SHE personaly, likes it she should sing it.
