To be honest, pretty much every post is just purely to showcase the couture clothes she’s wearing. Normally Law did this before but I just don’t think he has the time now, he has only re-posted a few of her posts. I actually think it’s more about needing to endorse the fashion houses more than anything else, it’s because everyone now sees her as a fashion icon in the fashion world and they want her to be seen wearing their clothes. Think about it...how many of her posts are related to her music!?

 

I wish and hope I’m wrong but I think this album is the furthest thing from her mind at the moment. I’m fairly certain we would’ve heard something about it by now if it was coming this year and surely she could’ve showcased one song if it was coming soon.

 

Whatever the reason it is making the media and people pay more attention to her and that's a good thing. I doubt she would perform a new song when this tour isn't meant to promote her new album, that'll come later. And who knows, maybe Ashes is on her new album and that's why they are promoting it a lot.

Exactly. People know she’s on tour. Therefore they know she’s still about and performing! Can only be a good thing. Definitely should carry on during Vegas times etc too. But we’ll see.

The album could still come out in November, we all know how they seem to like that month lol

Something tells me that after she done with this tour, and a few weeks of rest , she will start to do some promotion for this new album here in the states, Like NY/ Cal and a few others places , to get the hip up for it , Now when it does drop we fans better start promoting it like crazy , to radio like we did for ashes,

Yeah but they could still just post a pic from the show, sound check, m&gs, rare unseen pics from whenever (there must be hundreds we haven’t seen. Just to keep the momentum. Then when it’s nearer the time for the album release, start posting pics from recording sessions etc, and hopefully the album cover shoot etc. It’s just to keep the momentum going for when the album does actually come out. She’s been building it up since Ashes hit, they need to capitalise on it!

This list just shows how underrated Celine is in the US imo. But at the same time she is one of 2 international/bilingual singers on that list.

 

Mariah and Janet may be in the top 3 but I don't know any of their songs (maybe 2 of Mariah). Idk, they may have had big hits but being number one for a couple of weeks doesn't mean their music is as well known. Maybe it's just me but I name at least 8 of Celine's songs even before I was a hardcore fan, back when I was a "oh yeah Celine Dion, she's really good" type fan.

Of course you’re absolutely right! But we can’t deny that Céline has been helped build her stardom by the team around her (René first). We can easily give examples of talented singers who have gone nowhere because they haven’t been surrounded by the « right » people
