You can only listen to all the songs for the first time once. Then it’s done. And like LMBTL you try to convince yourself you love it but it’s a like at best, and then 5+ years to wait again. Let’s all embrace and enjoy the build up, the anticipation, the very slow drip of info... I love the chat and how we all share what we’d love but at this point after all this build up, I’m just happy if it’s a truly great album with songs good enough to be permanent fixtures on all future tours that even casual fans know about. It will form part of her Vegas show and her tour, and based on the reception will determine how they move forward with everything post-tour. Are new fans enough to fulfill this loss? Is she able to get new fan nowdays? A dance track can easily be turned into a piano driven ballad...it's a matter of production and arrangements. It's all about the emotion she can deliver while singing and they (the producers) don't help her to do that recently. There can be a great chorus in an uptempo song (Ttwii) or a great country track (ma force) and she puts all of her voice and herself while singing them or she can sing a great power ballad like Ma Faille and her voice may sound unpleasant to the ears... 1 Quote
