québecflower Posted March 2, 2018 at 04:52 PM Posted March 2, 2018 at 04:52 PM (edited) Kaven is in the band of a new program show with Veronique Cloutier...and they show him evey opportunity they got. Never seen a band member so much in a program that is not really about music. I don't know what they find in him... Bruno Portugal Posted March 7, 2018 at 05:30 PM Posted March 7, 2018 at 05:30 PM I'm quite disappointed… 2018 was supposed to be THE CELINE DION YEAR and simply there are no news regarding Celine’s new English album. Will the 50th birthday celebrations include a new single/music video? I’m a regular listener of the M Radio Celine Dion (100% her French songs) - http://radio.garden/live/paris/mfm-radio-celine-dion/ - and I have to admit that her French catalog is SO much better. This being said, after EUS I personally need brand-new English material from Celine and I would love to have something really great before the tour! 3 Quote My Webpage >>> TRIBUTE TO CELINE DION

Ncarbia Posted March 7, 2018 at 07:28 PM Posted March 7, 2018 at 07:28 PM Oscars and Grammys have already gone.... Kev xI agree with you on the Grammy thing, she should've gone,it's always good to let people see your face in big events, but the Oscars... I see no reason for her to had considered going, the song wasn't even nominated. There's still BBMA's, she can drop the new single on her birthday and then sing it there. They seem to like her going every year. And then of course, I hope once the album is released she will be doing a couple of award shows, like AMA's and Grammy's next year. I'd really like for her to earn a nomination for an award, but they always seem to remember her when she has no new music out, but forget when she's promoting something. Let's hope that now that she's got big attention from the media things wilk be different. And for the album, I hope she releases a single before the tour and sing a couple of songs in advance, like she did with Encore Un Soir, Ordinaire and A la Plus Haute Branche in 2016. Javito Posted March 7, 2018 at 10:24 PM Posted March 7, 2018 at 10:24 PM (edited) The gaps between each Vegas parenthesis are becoming more quiet and silent each time. To me, it's becoming clear Céline is learning to enjoy her private life with her family and children even with more emphasis than before, and the last events in her family probably made her realize the great value of those precious moments with her family. She certainly doesn't need the spotlight, the cameras or the attention from the media. She definitely doesn't have the ambition to be on the top again or to pursue any projects with more preference than others. She said she only needs the stage to sing to her public (but this public no matter it is 50,000 or 5 people), and these days I even doubt she will stand to those words of her forever. Maybe the day she will not feel that need to sing in public is closer than we think (God forbids), but this longer gaps of silence to which she has not us accustomed to, make me think that the time when we will not hear from her that frequently is coming more sooner than later. scielle Posted March 8, 2018 at 12:34 AM Posted March 8, 2018 at 12:34 AM Yeah, it's been eerily quiet. Especially given the great momentum she had in 2016/17. But, even for an extrovert like her, such prolonged periods of intense media exposure must be draining, so totally understandable that she needs to recharge. As she should. 5 Quote

Javito Posted March 8, 2018 at 12:27 PM Posted March 8, 2018 at 12:27 PM (edited) No it's not. Especially when your last English album dates as back as 2013 and it already went unnoticed almost everywhere and it also took another 5 years to come out. manu23 Posted March 8, 2018 at 02:06 PM Posted March 8, 2018 at 02:06 PM Isn't Celine entitled to have a whole month or two completely off? (and I hardly doubt she hasn't been working in the album these past weeks) She has a full year ahead of her, when she comes back is going to be non-stop: Vegas, tour, album, promotion. The less she could do is have a few weeks completely off before the storm begins. The album is coming this year, thats a given, so chill and enjoy the slow winter months 5 Quote

Xpresso Posted March 8, 2018 at 04:32 PM Posted March 8, 2018 at 04:32 PM It's not like she's been totally off the face of the earth. She can't be in everyone's face over and over and then launch the album. She should be everywhere WHEN she releases it, NOT before. 1 Quote
Taking Chances Posted March 8, 2018 at 04:59 PM Posted March 8, 2018 at 04:59 PM Celine has always been such an easy celebrity for me to love. There's never been a moment where I didn't like her, but there's been a lot of time in between new music and world touring over the past two decades, but when she delivers, I'm always reminded how great she is, and I instantly want more. 2017 was amazing, and with so much promise it's frustrating when it takes so much time before the new album comes out. Last year I thought we might actually get the new album in Spring of 2018, (which I almost couldn't believe because that would be so naive and actually believe that) but now I don't think it's gonna happen in 2018 at all. First it's the 2018 tour, and that's what she loves to do, so it seems the album will just get postponed. It's strange to me that don't coordinate the release of the new album and the tour in one was or another. It doesn't need to be happening at once, but because Celine is an artist now who doesn't really need an album or new music to support a tour, so she/they don't do it. The problem for me isn't really that the album takes time to make. It's the fact that even though they take their time, the quality of the product doesn't seem to change. Which then just leads me to believe that the times it takes to make this album equals the amount of effort put into it. The priority of this album seems to be at the bottom of her upcoming things, or that it's constantly pushed back or "forgotten". I really do want them to take their time to make a great album, but even though I don't want a rushed or unfinished album, waiting does them no good either. Love Me Back To Life is the best example of "six years in the making" and it's an easily forgettable album. All I'm trying to say is that there is such a thing as taking too much time, and the reason is probably because what they currently aren't good enough, and Celine and or her team aren't really doing much about it. 2 Quote
Dancing_Queen Posted March 8, 2018 at 05:39 PM Posted March 8, 2018 at 05:39 PM I think as fans we've just been very spoiled. She's been working an insane amount in '16-'17, more than some newcomers in the business... I think she's probably still doing a lot, but we just don't see it...That said, I do miss my Céline 😁 6 Quote
Shaun Posted March 8, 2018 at 05:43 PM Posted March 8, 2018 at 05:43 PM The reality is also that Sony aren’t beating down her door for a new English album. Throughout the 90’s they wanted more and more from her as she was selling like crazy! Now though there’s no money to be made from a new English album by Celine for Sony or for Celine herself. She’s recording now simply for the joy of it and Sony will of course be happy to release it as and when it is done. Although I’m confident the time being taken will result in a quality album you also have to remember that she spent barely any time between albums in the 90s and some of her best songs are on those albums so I don’t buy the time equals quality debate. 2 Quote Bringing you the world's only Celine Dion podcast show since 2014.Find us on Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, Spotify & Amazon Music.
