Apart from an Adele Duet (which I dream about) the main thing I would like is some longevity put into supporting the album. Lately there’s a blitz of promotion for the first single, and then that’s it, the album is dead. I’d like for it to have a bit more life, for her to show off her new songs and keep the album going a bit

EUS was still one of the best, if not the best, song of tge album.

Trendy not so much. Ageless would be better.

Her last "ageless" song was "that's the way it is" (her last top 10) and at that time that kind of production was trendy... I'm sorry but only Céline fans remember her post 2000s releases....she needs to stop with these snooze albums

this argument is SO dated, as an artist Céline has to innovate, she knows that

Ageless tunes and composers work with her French discography, not that much with her English albums. A song by Jean-Jacques Goldman will always be a song by Jean-Jacques, even newcomers to her team like Francis Cabrel and his opening song in the album "Plus qu'ailleurs" have signed a timeless song too.

 

Celine needs to reinvent herself soon. So bad. She's been needing a good timeless production in English since ages ago, and letting 5 years pass now between each album is not helping. I really hope they solve this with the new album and that the 5 year wait is REALLY worth this time, because it wasn't with LMBTL.

The rumour is the album is going to be released at the end of the Second Quarter 2018. We're still in Q1.

 

The fact that Moccio is editing is a good sign; at least for the single

Thank God! But the period between the years 2003-2008 hurted much. During those years it was only Vegas and some TV promo for the albums she released, but all her performing activity was focused and limited to Vegas.

 

It took a while until they realized she couldn’t continue to be restricted within that one place.

Why is people stressed with the album? It's coming late in the year as always planned. There was no way Sony would release an album in Spring to sell half of what it could sell in the last quarter. If there was a chance it was her birthday but it's too late now. Their plan must be album in November and January announcement of a bigger tour to promote the album in Europe and Canada. Thank God! But the period between the years 2003-2008 hurted much. During those years it was only Vegas and some TV promo for the albums she released, but all her performing activity was focused and limited to Vegas.

 

It took a while until they realized she couldn’t continue to be restricted within that one place.

 

Actually I think it was the volume of shows she was trying to do and the raked stage was more likely the reasons lol. Didn’t leave her much time for anything else, and like I said the amount of shows and that horrible stage created it’s own problems with her health. Was really pleased when they changed the stage and halved the amount of shows per year. Much better.

 

Anyway, good sign that songs are being edited etc. Not toooooo much longer to wait hopefully 😂

Actually now it's less than 1/3 of the shows she used to do. She did over 200 shows a year! That was insane.

And I very much hope for a music video for the first single. It's necessary to support the album. And since she's a FASHION ICON now --- she should be more VISUAL with the promo of her albums.
