Maybe it's because it was a nightclub. I'd have been very surprised if she sang anything live in a club - especially only half a song.

I have to say that a dj could have made something better with this song. It makes no sense to have the complete first part of the song go into something completely different. That is not a good mix imo.

Nice that it got more attention on Celine again. But i would have loved to hear a better remix

What remix? That was aweful.... missed opportunity. She could have worked something out with the dj before.

You’re in a dance floor in a club and you come to lip sync the 1997 version of MHWGO... (eyes rolling).

 

What’s sad to me... is thats there’s no other option... no well known song in her repertoire, even remixed songs, sounds good in a club.

 

MHWGO is such a cliché song and cheezy choice that it ends up being enjoyable for the people there... its so absurd for that moment, that its good... especially when Celine just came out of no where.

How about Unison, LCMM (that was awesome!!), I Want You To Need Me, and many more!

It wasn't about remixing the song per sé. It was about catching a special moment with the people he was playing for. It wasn't to be like "oh s***! Listen to that Celine Dion remix!" It was to create a light atmosphere with a beautiful song for a minute.

Kind of sounds like a sia song though! (Not one she did, but a new one.) especially the bit she did after the first feels like heaven. But who knows!

ANDHC remixes sound great for a dance club, particularly the Mike Rizzo and Christ Panaghi cuts

It isn't supposed to be a completely remixed song.

If that was the case it would definitely not have worked out, the way it happend on that festival.

 

It's not about being a good remixed song, it was to capture a moment on a festival before the big drop at the end. It happens without music, or in this case with a superballad called MHWGO

I have the vinyl with many extended remixes and they are outstanding - and very different from the version we know.

Even many DJs were shocked it was a Céline remix!

I actually wouldn't mind this as an album track. It's an obscure cover, and with the way a lot of artists are making new music with an 80s sound, I think they could do a beautiful job with this song.
