My hubby is a Celine fan as well, and he has loved her singles since TC much more than I do. I play SLS, Thank You and Incredible a lot. He has QPVSA, LMBTL and Breakaway on repeat!

you see thank you have grown on me very much also , but if must keep just one track , it is didn't know love. I'm a sad person i think, after tant de temps on the french one. Melancholy + Celine .

i find it good , but it is a little too formatted for me. But i think it is a good choice.

'Breakaway' is a great choice and I reckon it will reach top 20. It is really nice to see that Celine's team didn't mess up with the second single this time! If they pick 'Incredible' to be the third single of the album, it'll mark the first time in 17 years - since the days of 'Falling Into You' - that they pick 3 consecutive strong singles to promote an album. I've read here that some people have heard it on Radio 2. I streamed Radio 2 as well, but I only lasted like 20 minutes, then I had to listen to something else. British radio channels are so uneasy to listen to. Maybe it's the British accent, I don't know. I just can't listen to it.

 

It's the same thing with British TV shows or movies, I just think it's too silly. I'm way too American that way. For the record, I love British people, I just don't like British entertainment for some reason.

I was streaming a Pittsburgh Penguins game online and it was a stream from Premier Sports (a British channel) and in between the tons of gambling commercials and commercials for flora butter (?) they showed a commercial for radio 2 that mentioned Breakaway

One performance of "Loved Me Back To Life" on The X Factor got that song to #14 in the UK. The show she's going to be performing "Breakaway" on regularly gets 2-3 million viewers more than The X Factor.

and the public has already warmed up to the presence of Celine and her new album! Anything could happen! BREAKAWAY seems to be taking off a lot quicker on radio... We'll see!!

Yes he did. It was refreshing to see them use their anger productively. Usually their emotions get the best of them and they play like crap.

 

And ya that goal was pretty spectacular and a nice way to make up for being a main factor that resulted in one of the Islanders' goals earlier in te game.

Her career is doing fine. And 'Thank You'? Really? You do understand why it is track #8 in her album, right? FILLER! It is not even radio friendly.

 

Oh! because Breakaway is SUCH a hit waiting to happen! So what with truck number 8? NBBMH was truck 12 and did just fine and it even got a music video! (one of her best IMO but Iguess it was during the days when she had to prove herself)

Breakaway is really a hit waiting to happen in the UK much more so than TY which is a great song but not nearly as radio friendly or appealing as a single. And there's still a large possibility that there will be music videos and her career is the furthest thing from being down the the drain. She has one of the most successful shows in Vegas of not the most successful current show and this album is doing spectacularly in most of the world and even in countries it seems to be struggling she is sill doing fairly decent. And they are using Ne-Yo. Incredible is the 2nd single of Canada and the US when the times comes. It's already charting well I'm Canada and it hasn't even been released formally as the single yet. Slow your roll dude.

i know, Sidney is easy to disturb....Islanders are missing a Subban for that I wonder if Subban loves Celine , he would be perfect then

WAAF and Breakaway have similar styles both are modern ballads. Difference in the two being in WAAF she uses her raspier voice more.

 

And WAAF isn't being neglected. It's been performed more times than Breakaway has been so far and was included in the mini tour set list.

That situation is still fresh on my mind. I wanted to record every single song or parts of all of them in the tour, but as I came back I noticed the only one missing was WAAF. Maybe my brain is still conspiring against it.

Breakaway is a perfect choice as a 2nd single. Different enough from the 1st single and a nice "winter" song. I must commend Sony UK on the job they are doing here, they only had Celine for 3 days and they've done amazingly well with their promo. I hope they chose "Incredible" as the 3rd UK single and get Celine & NeYo here in Feb / Mar to promote it.
