smw Posted February 16, 2014 at 06:43 PM Posted February 16, 2014 at 06:43 PM I think our only hope is that maybe it was always only going to be played toward the end of the Olympic games -- when they show highlights. They said "as a sort of winner's anthem". So MAYBE the video will be released around that time. I've wondered if -- with all the controversy in SOCHI -- her team has just taken things slow to see if it's a good idea to release the video or not. But I think there's still hope that the video will get released. They've released INCREDIBLE as a single in some areas. So the video should see the light of day at some point. It would be so nice to have, as some have said, a souvenir from this era. One music video from LMBTL! Quote

GoldenLeaf Posted February 16, 2014 at 08:11 PM Posted February 16, 2014 at 08:11 PM (edited) Cher was mainly popular in the U.S. and the U.K. and maybe a little bit in Germany. Not saying that she doesn't have popularity in other European countries because her Farewell tour did span into smaller countries...but as far as major music markets go, Cher only really hit 2 of them. What? In term of albums, Cher used to be popular in Europe during the ''Believe'' era otherwise her Believe album in 1998 wouldn't have sold more than 4 millions copies and her album The Greatest Hits in 1999 wouldn't have sold more than 2 millions copies in this continent alone. It just happens that she's been flopping in Europe since 2001 (and this includes UK and Germany)... and don't tell me that her latest album was successful in UK because it wasn't. Debuting at #4 and then free-falling without even managing to reach silver certification isn't what I call successful. Edited February 16, 2014 at 08:21 PM by GoldenLeaf 1 Quote

"Believe" was a fluke hit and even Cher has said that herself. Plus, I didn't say that her album was overly successful in the UK. I was comparing her sales to Celine's for LMBTL in the US because that's where Cher's main popularity is. And we all know sales are lower for everyone in 2014. Until certification numbers are lowered to go with the times, everyone is going to say that these sales are flop numbers, when in reality if people would get out of denial and just admit that albums aren't selling anymore in general, they would see that in 2014, these really aren't flops. And I would like to thank everyone for the well wishes for my mom. Popular Post Shaun Posted February 17, 2014 at 12:38 AM Popular Post Posted February 17, 2014 at 12:38 AM I applaud Sony Music UK for doing their own thing and going their own way promoting the album. They thought ahead by choosing "Breakaway" as the 2nd single and arranging for Celine to perform it on Strictly Come Dancing. Whilst the single didn't impact the charts it helped sell a shed load of albums in December. Now, instead of waiting for the mirage that is the "Incredible" video they're thinking differently and actively promoting "Water and a Flame." The song is being played at least 3 times daily on the UK's most listened to radio station. It's no surprise to see the album jump up the charts this week in the UK. If the "Incredible" video ever does come Sony Music UK will be in a unique position to promote a FOURTH single! It's no surprise to me the album has been the most successful in the UK as Sony Music UK have done a great job with it, and to think they only had Celine for THREE DAYS in November! 16 Quote Bringing you the world's only Celine Dion podcast show since 2014.Find us on Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, Spotify & Amazon Music.

Another example it can be the second single with music video, Le Miracle. We could see by a tv show that she recorded the forest scenes on october 2th and the video was published in CelinedionVevo on November 20th... so... we know they take their time in postproduction.... what we can see is that the Incredible video is going to have a secondary plot with actors or models and probably only Celine, and the giraffe and Ne-Yo on the roof... hahahaha Quote

SO R.I.P. INCREDIBLE, IT WAS NICE ENJOYING YOU AS A POTENTIAL HIT WHILE IT LASTED, NOW TOO BAD YOU HAVE TO FADE AWAY W/ THE REST OF THE LMBTL ALBUM INSTEAD OF BASKING IN THE SUNSHINE W/ THE REST OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!! :( here are the new lyrics i have now created for the song incredible (and now im calling the song "forgettable" instead of incredible since its a much more suitable title for the song now lol): "forgettable oh oh oh oh, lets make them not remember, that we were forgettable, very forgettable oh oh oh oh"... davidjag79 Posted February 17, 2014 at 09:49 PM Posted February 17, 2014 at 09:49 PM (edited) Chill out people the MV is coming I mean it wouldn't have been a segment on GMA about the song and behind the scenes look at the filming of it. C'mon granted Sony has done a piss poor job at promo here in the US for LMBTL ... They are obviously waiting for the right moment to premiere the MV to coincide with the Olympics to give the song a push. Who knows if the Olympics + a MV for "Incredible" will produce a hit? My feelings on the whole issue is "Incredible" to Rene and Sony was the "gem" of the album and had the most hit potential to the mainstream in the US. The reason I say this is because "they" as in Celine and Rene were going on and on and onnnn about the collaboration with Ne-Yo for 2 years straight with any interview prior to all the push backs of the album. anewdayhascome Posted February 18, 2014 at 05:38 PM Posted February 18, 2014 at 05:38 PM Well, I disagree with those who say that Celine can't come back to numer 1 spot with pop modern material. It's all about promotion and proper approach. Look back at TTWII, IA, ANDHC and IDAN. Each time they were worldwide hits and not ballads. Those songs were heavily played, had videos and were performed a lot live. It is possible. In my opinion, the problem is with radio stations and Sony. The first ones don't consider Celine "cool" enough to play and as for Sony, they know she'll sell either way, so they don't want to put any effort. Both Incredible and Breakaway could have become big big BIG hits but this album is doomed from the beginning. No concept, wrong concept, delays, changes, one year, two years, 4 years, later LMBTL which is really huge! but again sang during a concert and later a month without anything. They should have released the single instantly and do a video. No promotion in radios. Only TV appearances... Releasing Breakaway and Incredible as "ghost" singles. I feel like we don't have a second single still and yet there were moments when they could have done something about it. Now they are again and again postponing things and nothing happens. It's the wrong approach that other albums didn't have. And don't say it's something certain and that it's been like this for ages. Look at Sans attendre. We had 3 REAL singles, in radios, with videos and more importantly with a minitour. So they CAN do good things... but they come up with horrible decisions over and over again 1 Quote A New Day... 10th & 11th November 2006 Taking Chances World Tour, Antwerp 13th & 14th May 2008, Kraków 28th June 2008 Celine 25th & 27th & 31st August 2013 20th, 23rd, 24th, 27th & 28th September 2016 Sans attendre Tour, Paris 1st & 5th December 2013 Encore un soir, Paris 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th June & 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 9th July 2016 Live 2017 Stockholm 17th June 2017 Lille 1st & 2nd July 2017 Paris 8th & 9th July 2017 Berlin 23rd & 24th July 2017 Live 2018 Taipei 11th & 13th July 2018 Manila 19th July 2018 Bangkok 23rd July 2018 BST Hyde Park London 5 July 2019

karebear82 Posted February 18, 2014 at 06:26 PM Posted February 18, 2014 at 06:26 PM (edited) karebear82 , one of the soundtracks is "the Prayer". hi ukrfan, im so sorry that i didnt reply back to you sooner, i must have missed this message when going through the other messages this past weekend and this past weekend was kinda rough for me boyh @ work and @ home especially w/ all this frickin snow among other things going on... sorry about that, i really do apologize for not replying to you sooner... i do thank you for your reply, i really appreciate it... :) so you mean that the song thats in the movie "gimme shelter" that celine sings @ the end credits is her song "the prayer", a 16-year-old song that she has already released (and please no offense to those of you on this forum), but the prayer in my honest opinion is not one of celines best songs, even tho yes the lyrics are sweet and lovely and her voice is in great shape as normal, but i do find the prayer to be one of her most boring songs ive ever heard... i dont know if its cuz the song is too "classical sounding" to me or what, i just dont care for it much... im more into pop, soft rock, hard rock, r&b, oldies, country, dance, alternative, some hip-hop, and some musicals & soundtrack stuff mostly, im not really into classical and opera stuff, its not my cup of tea, again no offense for those of you who are, im sorry... i was kinda hoping that celines song in the movie "gimme shelter" would be either from the lmbtl album since it is celines newest album after all, or even a new song that was made specifically for the movie itself like her previous movie hits were, (such as "my heart will go on", "beauty and the beast", "when i fall in love", and "because you loved me", which were all written and recorded specifically for the movies that they were played in and not for any previous albums or any other projects)... i just thought that maybe having another movie hit would be great for celine to have some musical exposure again, at least here in the usa where she has become almost invisible to everybody except for us big time fans and the people who go to her vegas shows (which i would like to see someday but w/ a family to raise and money being tight as it is for me already thanks to hours @ work being cut lately, i really cant afford $1000 to go to vegas at all and im on the east coast, hey sorry to celine lol... and about the whole album situation w/ celine these days, again its such a real shame that alot more of her usa fans (the ones that are not from this forum that is) and even the general public out there didnt embrace celines loved me back to life album, while i agree its not one of her very best albums compared to her older ones, but its still a good album and the usa should have given lmbtl a chance... now im starting to wonder if celine will still be making albums from now on, at least the english language ones since now theyre not doing as well as her french language seem to still be doimg these days, i dont know if sony music usa will still keep celine on their rouster for the english albums, or like some others on here have previous said very recently, have her leave pop music altogether and only record either a jazz music album or an album of really old standards, which again no offense to anybody in here, but im also not crazy about jazz or the really old standards type of music, i prefer celine doing the pop, soft rock, and r&b music that shes already done, and then maybe doing some dance, alternative, or country music someday (since those genres of music are still successful in most of the usa, most people still listen to dance, alternative, and country music as well, at least most people that i know still do lol), but thats just my own opinions... and i also hope that if she does end up doing a jazz or a standards album someday that its only 1 album of that type of music please, and that it wont take her another 6 years or longer to bring out more albums or anything... now i can understand this past time around cuz she had her twins which i understand would be harder to record songs when she was pregnant and all that so she had to take time to rest for that reason and we all deserve to have breaks sometimes am i right heck yes lol... but i dont think she can have any more kids cuz she is getting older, and i really hope that she will record a few more new albums for us while her husband rene is still around and before she does retire someday which we all know will happen eventually in the future unfortunately... :( Edited February 18, 2014 at 06:43 PM by karebear82 Quote sincerely, karebear82 :) <3 <3
