Second single: "Incredible" - Duet with Ne-Yo

what type of music video would it be? I mean I could see it two ways,

1) a reflection of both their careers and dedication to their fans togeather

2) celine and neyo walking down a normal street separately surrounded by everyday heroes doing their jobs.. they meet at an intersection of an accident where they see everyone working together to the incredible.. helping save everyone.. ?????

idk just some ideas throwing around here

That's right people keep having great ideas of music videos in your head because that's all we are gonna get! Hate to break it to everyone but the era of LMBTL album DIED when she she officially returned to Vegas for her winter shows. She doesn't have another break until late spring then back again to Vegas for the summer , and by that time the album will be a distant memory for Sony, Celine, Rene and 99.9% of the public, nobody to blame here except VEGAS and we better get used to it I guess since we have more 5 years of that s***. If they are not going to shoot a music video then release the 'Le Banquier' performance as the official one. That's the one that I liked the most, with the audience really enjoying it and participating with coloured lights. It was a beautiful performance and both Celine and Ne-Yo enjoyed it. there is one way we can. That is if we send emails, letters, posts to every celine dion fan in the world, where we open an account and pledge money to get celine to do a music video or two. It would involve a director who is passionate for the cause, staff who can work with it and being able to get enough funding, and having celine there supporting us!

If Celine's team does visit this place, as some people have said/hinted and read all criticism towards videos from the last era, they might be punishing us and not offering any video this time. :giggle:

Probably that's not the case, but truth is we're sometimes a bit too critical, and then there's something missing and we also complain... :mellow:

Ah, ten years from now, Loved Me Back to Life is going to be known as the least memorable album Celine has released, not to mention worst commercially successful and lazy beyond comprehension in terms of marketing. I have officially given up on her career. This is it: it's over. And however much I love Celine, she should be ashamed of herself. Yes, her family is her top priority right now, while her career takes a backseat (and I totally get that), but you'd think she'd give us (the people who have supported her all these years) some acknowledgement. What's one music video? I think we, as a collective fanbase, deserve one tiny music video (that's not a frigging live performance, or filmed in the effing desert).

I may not be the post popular member on the forum after I hit the Post button, but doesn't anyone else feel that Celine isn't doing much - if anything at all - for her fans nowadays? I love her, and I always will, but I feel like I'm being taken for a ride.

I agree with you, but just on the English career. I think she is back to the top of her game when it comes to her French career.

I think she does a lot, but as we were accustomed to getting so many great things in the 80s/90s/early-mid 00s, the amount of stuff she puts out nowadays pales in comparison, but the woman does work her butt off and her life has changed so I guess that other things have more priority to her, and I understand that as well.

Celine Dion doesn't owe you a thing. And it is quite arrogant of you to think that she does. No one is put on this Earth to do what you want. You are NOT the center of the universe. I know that's harsh but you need a reality check. Celine is here to do what is best for herself, her husband, her children, and her family. THEY are the ones who have stood by her side her entire life. You (and me, and the rest of us) have simply bought her CD's and listened to her music. She does not owe me, or you, or any other "fan" anything for doing that.

I mean, I really don't get the decision of not shooting a music video, even Ne-Yo's label would pay for it. They're quite interested in promoting the song, otherwise Ne-Yo wouldn't have travelled to Montreal, or sang live with her 4 times, or talk about her on Arsenio's show, or tweet about her.

I'm thinking about R Kelly and Gaga... R Kelly was nowhere to back up Gaga, and she needed to turn to xtina!

So the thing is, there must be some legal issues behind this whole thing of not making music videos. We didn't even get a lyrics video for Incredible! that's quite... incredible. A lot of studios would shoot that video for free so money's not an object! We could tweet ne-yo and maybe he'll come up with an answer!

I really wonder what the deal is, but I guess record labels don't like to invest that much money in MVs nowadays. Most videos you see today are like watching an advertisement, as you see singers frolicking with Belvedere or Bacardi or any other drink, flashing their stuff on the hottest vehicle, or promoting the latest technology.
