Does anybody know if Céline's vocals are outtakes from the original LTAL recording session or did she record them just for Carole's album?

Just when you think you've seen everything on Céline collecting and BAAAMMM!!!, I spotted this last weekend:

 

A promotional album sampler made in Mexico, which (blimey!!) I had never seen before in 15 years of collecting (and I dare to say many hasn't, either!).

 

I'm still stunned. I thought we had seen all the picture CD singles out there, but it's 2018 and still some like this surface, all of a sudden.

 

Where has this been all these long years? Had anybody seen this one before? Because I hadn't heard a word of this. Not even a blurry picture, nor a reference of the catalogue number, nada.

 

The cover says in Spanish "Sampler de ventas", which means "sales sampler", one of those who were made to be played in-store prior to the album release.

 

This piece should well be crowned now in the same category as that Amar Haciendo El Amor PROMO CD! :wub:

It looks amazing, but i have to agree with CelineDionForeverNY, it doesn't seem that official. The disc looks like a self labelled CD-r, you can see the bubbles on the surface. CD-r promo's only started to come up at the end of '99. And if the Mexican LTAL has TLYM instead of WITL, then that doesn't make sense. The catalogue number could work tho, PRCD 97078 fits in the time frame of the other Mexican promo's:

MHWGO PRCD 97178

I PRCD 97333

 

But also, let's not forget there was a Mexican promo box, including the album and a video, CDSXX486438... so how much effort did Sony Mexico put in this release??

At that time 39,95 gulden, years behore we got the euro. Getting old...

You got it cheap... mine was 42,95 guilders hahaha

 

I remember they had this cool poster display on the wall... with posters rolled up and cut up etc. It was so cool, but a shame the posters couldn't be savaged
