The Celine Dion Show.

"I'm Celine Dion and I'm the greatest singer in the world" :sofunny:

This parody summed up the Celine hype at that time.

Thank you for sharing! I’ve been looking for this video for YEARS!

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

To Love You More doesn't belong to this album, actually it doesn't really belong to any album. If only, it has more right to be part of FIY than LTAL, according to the date when it was released (late 1995).

In the US, though, it wasn't released until LTAL came out. It was the third single here, off LTAL. So I typically think of it as part of LTAL. (Though I first time I heard it was that VH1 Honors show with the high school girl playing the violin; I think that was spring 1997, before LTAL. Such an amazing performance!)

Céline Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' is featured on Titanic re-release trailer.

Same trailer as the 2012 re-release

But still amazing they chose to uses the song so prominent then and now again

True! Here I found the original announcement letter from the Fan Club. Strange, it was so easy to find it in my drawers. I only wish I could say the same for my document from the bank that I'm searching for weeks :D

I never new this album was originally going to be named The Reason. Hmm. Glad they changed it.

Also, Never Never Never? Lol.

Am I the only one who feels “Treat Her Like A Lady” stands out like a sore thumb on the album? The song doesn’t match the “timeless”/“classy” vibe the album seemed to strive for. I feel it should have been saved for a future release like what was done with “That’s Just The Woman In Me.” The cover art for the single would have worked better with “Just A Little Bit Of Love.”

I always liked Treat Her Like A Lady, I just wish her pronunciation was a little better on some parts. Like here:

All the girl could want was a little attention

From a man who's strong and not to mention

Kiss and caressing her all night long

But all that boy wants is to hit and run off

He and his friends, they sit and they laugh

Going around talking 'bout the girls they used in the past

The only song I never liked is Why Oh Why. I always skip it, it's just boring. Feels like a filler like they just added very last minute. And I know that's not the case. I never got into the lyrics either, it's so bland.

I never really skip songs ever, except Why Oh Why.

I would love more information about the songs on Let's Talk About Love.

Yes, same for me. It is probably one of my least favorites from Céline.

I'm a big fan of THLAL and you know it was the only song on the album that my friends enjoyed

the song has a nice reggae vibe, it would works amazing on her acoustic set

JALBL is amazing too, but is missing a remix production B)

Yes, I never liked Why OH Why, she sounds like a bad copie of Toni Braxton, whose album Secrets was hot at that time.

God, I LOVE "Why Oh Why" 😍 am I the only one ?! Lol

I admit the lyrics aren't the best of the album, for sure 😉 but the melody, the 90's rnb vibes and... THAT voice 🌹

That's maybe the reason... I was never into that '90 r'n'b vibe :D ;)

There's something about it. I think it's the way she sings. Just not my preference.

I've only heard Unbreak My Heart that I can mention by Toni Braxton, but you might have a point.

I think “Treat Her Like A Lady” is a good song well enough. However, when compared to the rest of the LTAL album, it feels shoehorned in. I think it would have been better to have left it unreleased at the time, and then placed on “The Collector’s Series - Volume One,” years later. OR it could have made a good b-side to a “Just A Little Bit Of Love” single.

I remember the first time I heard THLAL on the radio, the announcer said you will never guess who the singer is because it's totally different from her previous singles. At that time i had a feeling it would be a Celine Song hahaha, can't believe that I am right and at the same time I didn't expect that kind of song from Celine. It was pretty successful here, my sister said every clubs play that song, I'm too young to go to the club at that time. But then MHWGOO come took over all the attention.

I listened to Why Oh Why today in my car. -_- I turned up the volume like I always do and tried to get into it. I like the ending of it. It has sexy vocals.

Actually, the best parts of the song are the wordless parts where she hums, lol.

Something tells me you wanted JALBIL to have been a single... I can't quite put my finger on it :hmm:

This album is very special to me. First cd i got from her. I love everything about it : the songs, the cover, the photoshoot : everything is so classy and coherent. There is a mood in that album. I remember receiving it for Christmas and go right away upstairs to press play and the first time i've hearded The reason in my headphones that was it, the magic was there!
