Nice video but again nothing special. Céline looks GREAT especially in black dress, love it. Would be nice if Céline was more involved in video for example she could be dancer ... just for a few seconds ... simply do something more ... but Ok she is doing at least something with fire ... but again Céline´s role is same again and again ... is this problem of director or problem is that Céline doesn´t want to do something more? I don´t think all directors of her videos at last decade saw her only this way ... but the best thing is that we have video for 3th single after only one real video from TC it´s very positive thing.

I don't know what to think Celine looks amazing, love the part with the burning match. But the rest is too much like Pink's video for Try, except Pink's is better. And the hangar, it looks as if they were planning to shoot it in front of a blue screen, but then forgot to add the background, like she's standing in a cheap studio

 

But yeah, it's better than LM's video. I just would have loved to have seen her as part of the story, not just sing it...

The video is of course the best one out of the 3 we've got so far. She looks amazing and we had many different shots of Céline and the dancers BUT...

 

Come on, this video confirms that Céline won't tell the story in her videos anymore, I don't know what's the matter if its because she doesn't want to do anything else or its the director's fault. She just stands in front of the camera and that's all, bye bye

I like the dramatic scene from the ad lib part, but over all it's kinda boring. Seeing Celine while standing is like seeing her at concert.

It's very similar in style to what we have been getting and even has some shots that look suspiciously like a desert. But I think it fits the song very well and Celine looks amazing, sexy, a bit bad #ss. She gets to do some classic "Celine Rocks" poses and she starts the video off with a lighted match. (PQTME anyone?) The Latin dancers fighting throughout their "dance of love" is a nice touch.

I agree a story video would have been preferable to me, but I'm not going to complain as much as i had expected to about this one. Pretty good job on making a video to fit the song when looked at independently, but when you consider what has gone before its clear this director is stuck in a loop and has got to go after this album. Hopefully we will get someone new for her English album.

And I agree, no obvious reason for the ridiculously long wait. It was a very simple shoot by the looks of it.

Little bit of A new day... ACBTMN twist with the dancers behind her, and I liked the flame bit and how it ends.

I thought Celine looked amazing in this video, her hair and outfits were great. I also thought the video was very current and edgy. The dancers were good, although some of their moves seemed a bit strange and excessive. And one of their scenes was in the desert, surprise surprise!

 

However, I wish Celine would do more than just stand there. Her part of the filming probably took just a couple of hours. I wish we could go back to the days where Celine played a character in a story, where she was 'the woman'. If they had taken this video seriously, she could have been the woman doing the dance moves with the man in all those scenes. That would have been much more exciting!

Yes 100% agree, moreover we all know that Céline would like to be actress so I don´t understand why she don´t act more in her videos it could be good training for her.

Was Pink the first to use dancers in her videos?

 

According to me, it's a mix between Melanie C's "This time" video ( for the atmosphere) and Melanie C's "Weak" video ( for the dancers).

 

The only difference is that Céline is backed up by a major company and is a worldwide famour singer and Melanie is a self -financed singer without means and label.

 

Which is more shameful for Céline.

First, I'd like to say that I'm happy that we have a high-quality video for a third single, which we haven't got in a long time. And I agree that of the three, this is the best.

 

I loved the part with the matches, gave me a bit of goosebumps, and I love that the video is a bit dark and that she looks gorgeous, of course. The only thing I disliked was the plotless situation, but the dancers and smoke gave a little drama to it. The Pink video "Try" did come to my mind as well, but not in a negative sense, maybe as the video was striking and it's so recent, it did ring a bell.

 

Celine looks gorgeous and sexy. I was hoping she would be like walking on dark streets or a dark harbour...

 

The only thing that made me was the desert again.

 

Overall I'm satisfied. I'm not a huge fan of the song, but there have been times when a video makes me appreciate the song even more, and I'm sure this will do the trick for QNPVSA as well.
