The song has moved up to #42 this week on the Canadian AC Chart, but is unfortunately starting to fall in spins. :/

Yes, but she moved only one place. Last week she was on #43. Maybe the video will help.

we always blame it on Sony. But what about Rene, doesn't he a play a big role too??

When we as fans listen to the album we can easily pick the right songs to promote.

But they often the pick the songs that are not likely to be a succes. Worst choice was Alone, which is a well known cover.

And that is stupid. That was not taking chances but playing safe! So I think Rene is just as guilty;-)

I doubt that the video will help the song. When they release a single, they should release the video right away. Now, they should be thinking of another single

The song has been out about a month or so, with the video due out this month, this is normal most videos come a month or so after the single hits the radio. The mistake I think Team Celine made was saying the video was being shot back in Feb. that got everyone excited for it, but then it was postponed due to Celine being ill. They probably should have waited to announce it till it was done being shot.

The song has been out about a month or so, with the video due out this month, this is normal most videos come a month or so after the single hits the radio. The mistake I think Team Celine made was saying the video was being shot back in Feb. that got everyone excited for it, but then it was postponed due to Celine being ill. They probably should have waited to announce it till it was done being shot.

I think the news of the video being shot in Feb was from somewhere in Twitter... I remember the news wasn't posted on CelineDion.com

February: The announcement that the song will be the 3rd single.

March: The new version of the song is sent to the radios.

April: The video clip is out.

May: The new version is included in the Collectors' Edition.

 

*yawn* The song could have been out in late February & the video in March. & they should go for the last single in June 2013 and then focus on the new english album.

I think they have a problem with the schedule and timing. They announce things too early before everything is set up and they let us wait impatiently. Like with the new English album. They should have recorded a video more or less in secret, prepare a plan of the promotion and then in the right time send the single to the radios. And to release the video maybe a week after.

However they don't have any schedule or timing problem when it comes to announce and release another of her parfums or a new Boutique item :whistling:

Have you noticed that the things that René and Céline have control of (like perfumes, t-shirts, mugs, :giggle: etc.) get announced in a timely manner, but anything controlled by Sony on her music just gets messed up??? I blame Sony way more than I blame René.

Maybe. I didn't really think of it because such things like perfumes or t-shirts don't interest me so much. So I overlook that kind of news.

Once the video is ready, they should just release it. In case of QPVSA, it could only help the song go up the charts, at least a little bit.

do you guys know whether there is any making of the I'm Alive or Goodbye's video? At least some short inside clip? I would love to see the behind the scenes of those videos; especially shooting the scences in the I'm Alive video where Celine is standing in the "airplane" wearing this looong golden dress :))
