this is the song with Que toi au monde that i skip . It is old Celine when she is bad, Shouting, emoting . This song do not gives the vibe of this album , at all.

 

I enjoy the song but it's not single-material, I've been saying this since the first time I listened to it. It doesn't represent the album from a musical standpoint (you also said so) and it sounds dated. ''Attendre'' and ''Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'amour'' are much more meaningful songs and ''Si Je N'ai Rien De Toi'' has a hook and is very radio friendly.

They won't. They had them lessons a hundred of times before and still they achieve to fail. They did the same to Contre Nature, A Cause and Alone (f.e.). Failures.

In fact they turned almost everything into flop ever since 2003, until late 2012 when SA brings a ray of hope and BANG here we go again....Really sad...

Let's not be so hard.....while I think there are better single choices, this certainly is not "THE WORST" in my opinion.....a little "I want you to need me" -esque in the screech department, but overall much different from PAMP and LM; so maybe that was the route they wanted.

 

When the video launches (if it ever damn well does) I'm sure there will be SOME boost in album sales/attention, and if not, lesson learned. Maybe?

 

The album still slayed commercially, but I doubt there will be a fourth single.

The video is supposed to be released this month so hopefully it'll be sooner this month, rather than later

Yes Sony is notorious for not continuing to promote an album and its singles, as well as not picking the best singles, but clearly they are learning from their previous mistakes somewhat. We have and are getting a music video for each single that has been released. Her tv promotional shows are still being broadcasted and they are releasing another version of the album while she is on a break from Vegas, which allows Celine to potentially do more promos for it.

Perhaps you and some others should not try being so negative about everything all the time.

I hope I'm wrong, but I've got a funny feeling we'll be getting the video for "Qui peut vivre sans amour?" in May, alongside the new edition of Sans attendre. Which kinda makes sense, really - what better way to promote this "limited edition" and help its sales skyrocket?

 

If I had it my way, the video for QPVSA would have been on YouTube by now, have the SA limited edition released in May, and launch a couple of other singles (accompanied by music videos), all before October and Water and a Flame/Breakaway/whatever it's called now.

What you call to be "negative", others call it to be realistic, which is very different. Without being presumptuous I think its plain evident that many fans in this board think that Sony has completely ignored, neglected and finally ruined the promotion of all her french albums since 1F&4T, and the promotion of Taking Chances and D'elles after the first single was just... nonexistent. Those are facts, not my negative view, and I think that's being realistic and honest, not negative . But if you prefer to be blind and say that the past 10 years in Céline's career Sony has done a great promotion, treated her albums as they deserved with the best singles and videos from them, then its up to you, but let others show their disappointment.

 

And if this rumoured collectors edition is going to be of some use (and not another milking-money release without any new content that its worth it, like they've done in the past -again I'm referring to real facts, like the collectors editions released of previous albums which had barely anthing new-) and if the new videoclip of QPVSA is going to be worth the wait and not another video shot before a green screen, that remains to be seen. I won't credit the renewed "good efforts" of Sony that you are announcing until I have seen the material, because they have disappointed a great deal of times already

You're taking for granted something that we don't know if it will happen, and I highly doubt that Céline resumes the album promotion again for this re-reléase (though it would be GREAT). So you're also praising Sony for something which we have not even seen yet, not how the third video looks, not what this rerelease includes. I am not praising Sony for this video or album. I am withholding judgement till they are out. All I said is that there is potential with when it is supposed to be released that she could do so promotion for it. And there is a difference between saying you already are expecting them both to be no different than before and thinking that hey they may surprise us yet. I would appreciate you not putting words in my mouth, I never once said that this album re-release would be amazing and everything we want, nor did I say that about the video. I stated that we don't know what they both will hold or be like.
