Ok first, I like the opening with the match! She looks fantastic! Love the black outfit then the white one! Love the close up shots.

It does remind me of Pink's video though.....

I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

I hope that there will be another single and video!

Well classic moves: she did her chest thump, air guitar, there was plenty of fans blowing her hair...I didn't get my shirtless guys but overall I'll take it! Edited by DionFanAlways

Don't you think Céline wearing black and white is representing the good and bad sides of love?

Definitely. I just saw the video for the first time. It's kind of dark, very intense... I love it!

Honestly, this song was one of my least favorites from the album, and I was a little bummed when it was announced as a third single. After seeing the video, however, it makes me enjoy it a whole lot more! I loved the video. She looked great, the dancers were awesome, I liked the smoke, the clothes, the matches!!! "Try," by Pink, did come into my mind at one point. My favorite part is from 2:35-2:50 when she's doing the guitar noises with her voice. It looks so good.

I liked the video, are not so demanding, in my opinion I liked all the videos of SA, the video is good, modern, just wait for the clips on teh english album will be better.

She looks so stunning. I really love the look of the video. However, the dancing is really far too much like in Pink's "Try".

This would have been a much better first single than Parler a mon pere.

Et la vie glisse sur l'eau du temps

La vie resiste, prend son elan

Pour un baiser elle peut se poser

Le temps qui compte est toujours compte

Celine is extremly pretty and young without botox. Best looks in her videography ever. Those random couples and dancers could be hurt or dirty. That man in desert is so annoying. It would be great if we could see tanks, guns and something like that.

^ In such a crazy world with so horrific news, I wonder what the effect of that would have been, but if it had been executed in a way that it makes sense and that it sends out a positive message, I see where your idea would have fit.

I do hope this song has legs à la PAMP and pushes the album even more. It would be awesome if for the third or fourth quarter they surprised us with a fourth single!

i loved the video ,the first scene with her in black and a match was very "que tu m'aimes encore" which to me is One of her best Videos.

i loved how they in cooperated the dance moves with celine's facial expressions...Only thing that could make it Epic was celine herself doing the female dance moves in the video. wishful thinking one can only dream lol Overall a very good video from celine..Hoping for a 4th video from 'SA" and Looking forward to NEW English single/Video/album...

Purepeople.com has reviewed the video. It makes me wonder if they have been reading the forum for the past couple of hours  :

In summary, it states that Céline looks super sexy with a femme fatale look, with penetrating eyes and a defiant attitude, and that her image looks as she were in a famous ultrafashion show. They also comment on the similarities to Pink's video, but that Céline offers a new aspect about herself that will satisfy her enourmous legion of fans.

Hi All, I woke up this morning to countless emails about Celine’s New Video, And was told to watch it.

As you know I don’t often go on the Forum, as I get bad press..LOL

I have been told to take a look. I was pretty honoured and horrified at the same time

to see the video qui peut vivre sans amour by celine. I was FLATTERED, but a bit put out at the same time

I would like the members of the forum to know that I did contact Thierry Vergnes personally a while back,

gave him the link to my videos, and asked him if I could be involved in the music video productions

if and when he decided to make it. I sent him links to all my films, the music video aswell.

One of the links I sent was for my Short Film FEAR OF HUE, where I light a match – very much

like at the beginning of Celine’s New Video.

I gave him heaps of ideas. Regretfully I received NO reply just a message of notification that it was received.

Well what can I say, I love Celine and any new footage of her is great, I just wish he had discussed some of this with me,

maybe asked to use my ideas – I don’t know, something like that? The exotic dancers in the desert, the dresses, Slow-motion,

and camera angles, are all very similar.

There is a word for this kind of action – plagiarism. Nevertheless - I am honored to see my ideas were used – and that

is what counts. The Music Video Is very well made, and so edgy. Glad to have in a subliminal way to have “Inspired it”

The Similarities between my Qui Peut Vivre Sans Amour video, and The Official On is uncanny.

I loved all of Thierry’s music videos - especially Parler a Mon Pere. But the new one,

is my new favourite – for obvious reasons.

You can see the similarities in this comparison video:

Question is... why Céline can't be the female dancer? WHY???

Because then it would be a 100% copy-paste version of Pink's ''Try''. Also, going from the clip of ''Le Miracle'' where she did nothing to angry dancing? Nah. :P

Parler a mon pere became a success everywhere, even in France, this one flops and doesn't represent the album's mood in the slightest. I don't think it would serve as a proper lead single. I do like the song though, don't get me wrong.

So, edgy songs in SA are PAMP, QPVSA, Attendre, CQMTA, SJNRT, LJCC

medium ones are LM, JNPBD

and all others are slower.

Sans attandre is faster than you may think.

Given the enormous success of the album, I don't care whether I like one single better than the other or if my favourites haven't been released (which they haven't), as I'm happy how it all turned out to be. I agree with you. I wouldn't change the order of events. Who knows if the story had been written for the worst.

Celine performed PAMP and LM about 2 months so it's obivious that they were more succesful. However, QPVSA was released 4 months after the promo tour. Celine doesn't promote it. I think if she would sing it in promo shows now it would be a success. Also I would like to say if that Qubec concert gets released and promoted it would be a boost for the release itself, singles and album, too.

I'm not following your definition of ''edgy'' cause to me the only edgy tracks in the album are ''Qui peut vivre sans amour'' and ''Si je n'ai rien de toi''. I can definitely tell you that I wasn't really talking about the pace of the song, I was rather refering to the fact that ''Qui peut vivre sans amour'' is an orchestral pop/rock song and no other song on the album sounds close to it (the only possible exception being ''Si je n'ai rien de toi''). It's the 3rd single of the album so it doesn't really have to represent the album, so I'm ok with the choice now. However, the comment you quoted was a reply to the idea of the song being the lead single of the album. That would be a mistake, in my opinion, cause the first single of any album is supposed to show what the album is going to be like and ''Parler A Mon Pere'' (a song about family, loss, love, passion for life) is by far the best choice to introduce ''Sans Attendre'' to the audiences.

I see where you're coming from... I would keep ''Parler A Mon Pere'' as the lead single, cause to me it is the best song to introduce the album to the masses. But for the second single I would choose ''Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour'', cause I feel it has potential to be a Celine classic (would definitely go higher than #77 in France had it been performed there as much as ''Le Miracle'' was performed) and for the third one I'd go for ''Attendre''. I've been saying all that since November. :P I'll just feel disappointed if they don't give these songs a chance to stand out, despite the fact that the album is so successful. Hopefully, she'll sing them live in her concert in Quebec.

Yes, Luke, I know we all have our Coulda Woulda Shouldas, and in my case there's always been the disappointment of not having a particular song released from almost every album. But then there are the things that compensate for others, aren't there? As I have said several times (also since November ) QPVSA is not my cup of tea, but the video is making me appreciate it even more with every time I see it. I also hope she'll sing most of my favorite non-singles from this album on that concert. ;)

Ya I do see similarities with your video and the now released video, It was either a co incidence, or the video production people watched it and did copy your ideas, I hope not the latter. :wtf: However, your video that you made was very Celineish to begin with, Deserty / hair blowing etc , so it could well have been a co incidence and maybe the people hadn't even watched your video at all, (im sure they don't watch everything they are sent ) PS: Your video was enjoyable........

I wasn't the one with lead single idea. To me, even Le miracle is edgy because its children's choir makes it so riding and fast. Sometimes vocals can be reason of edgyness not just beat. SJNRT could be a summer hit <3
